The Mother of Muhammad Ali said, ‘Give your life for Khilafah my son.'

In our region, lands of Islam, there lived a Muslimah whom the young and old, Muslims and non-Muslims, all alike, fondly called by her Kunya 'Bi-Amma'. If you were to ask the elderly whether they knew of 'Bi-Amma', you would receive the reply: "yes, we used to call the mother of Shaukat Ali and Muhammad Ali as 'Bi-Amma'." Thus she was the mother of the leaders of the Khilafah movement.
Abadi Bano Begum was the native of Rampur, Utter Pradesh, born in 1852, of a generation that inherited 1,000 years of Muslim ruling within Indian Subcontinent, interrupted by the British Occupation which began in 1757. In 1857 when Muslims rebelled against the unlawful rule of the British, she was just five years old. Because of that she could not be properly educated in school and college, but was highly cultured in Islam with chaste manners, which is the best of all knowledge. She cherished great love for Allah and His Messenger She was ever ready to sacrifice her life and all for the cause of Islam. She adhered to Islam. She was respectful towards her elders and 'simple living and high thinking' was her motto in life. She was married to Abdul Ali Khan who was a senior official of Rampur State. She had one daughter and four sons including Maulana Shaukat Ali and Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar. 'Bi-Amma' had four sons, Nawazish Ali, Zul Fiqar Ali, Shaukat Ali and Muhammad Ali. Of these, Nawazish Ali died in infancy. The other three grew up in age. In their early childhood their father died thus she became a widow at the age of thirty. The responsibility of bringing up and educating these children fell on 'Bi-Amma' alone. She educated them superbly.
When her eldest son, Nawazish Ali, died, people came to give her condolences over the sad demise of her son. They found her bearing the tragedy with exemplary fortitude. She said to them: "We should all submit to the Will of Allah. Allah hath power over all things. Whatever He has entrusted to us, He has power to take it back when He pleases. Our life and death are indeed in His hands." When 'Bi-Amma' went for Hajj, she caught hold of the 'Ghilaf' (cover) of the Ka'ba, and made the following dua: 'O Allah! By Thy Grace my children have now grown upon. I beseech Thee to make them true Muslims.'
Although she did not have any formal education, she was deeply convinced of the advantages of acquiring modem education for the Muslims of the Indo-Pakistan sub- continent she educated her sons at Aligarh and Oxford; for that she pawned her jewellery to pay for her son's education. Of the three surviving sons, two earned great renown. The youngest son, Muhammad Ali, acquired exceptional qualities of head and heart. He was extremely courageous and no one could hold him in awe. The whole world recognized the superiority of his accomplishments. While on the subject, consider one interesting and exemplary dialogue: One gentleman praised Maulana Muhammad Ali in the presence of his mother and said: "It is your untiring effort and tender care that has shaped him (Maulana Muhammad Ali) to such towering eminence and capability." Bi-Amma replied,"You are wrong. The fact is, all this is the result of the Grace of Allah on us. Allah endows with honour whom He pleases and brings low whom He pleases."
Under the British Occupation, some Muslims became seduced by the Westernized way of life. To these people 'Bi-Amma' cautioned: "Countrymen! Give up the way of life of these foreigners. Stick to the traditional way of life of your ancestors. Serve not these foreigners, nor accept honours from them because these people are very crafty and fraudulent." During the sessions of the All India Muslim League in 1917, at the age of 62, she delivered the most touching and forceful speech which left a lasting effect on the Muslims. By Allah's Grace, following her noble example, Maulana Shaukat Ali (ra) and Maulana Muhammad Ali (ra) became such true Muslims that they submitted to none, save Allah. It was Allah alone that they feared. Both the brothers fought against the British throughout their lives and worked to prevent the British from destroying the Khilafah. When Englishmen used to arrest and imprison them, 'Bi-Amma' used to be overwhelmed with excitement. She used to go to the jail and tell her sons: "My sons! Hold fast to Islam with all your might. Never mind even if your life is sacrificed in the cause of Islam."
While her sons were still in jail this bold and venerable mother kept alive the fervour for the Khilafat Movement. She toured the country, addressed large gatherings of people, which flocked to hear her and exhorted them to follow the footsteps of her great sons in their struggle for the unity and fraternity of the Muslim Ummah. She replaced her illustrious sons in popularity and leadership and the famous Urdu couplet "Boli Amma Muhammad Ali Ki Jaan Baita Khilafat Pay De Do" ("The mother of Muhammad Ali said, give your life for Khilafah my son") became household words and were sung in every nook and corner of the Sub-continent by all sections of people irrespective of caste or creed.
After the abolition of the Khilafah in March 1924, Bi Amma, did not survive for long and died on November 13, 1924. Her death was a great loss to the Ummah, but Muslim women who had come out to work with Bi Amma were to become a political force to reckon with. Their activities were a necessary prelude to their active participation in the struggle to establish Pakistan in the name of Islam. It is their legacy which has spawned a generation of good women today, who nurture their children upon Islam from their lap, propelling the Muslims of today to demand Shariah as the law of Pakistan and call openly and widely for the return of the Khilafah.
This was 'Bi-Amma', the mother of the two illustrious sons of India, Maulana Shaukat Ali and Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar. May Allah shower His choicest bounties on all three of them.

Sisi’s call to the Egyptians - a cover to bloodily break up the protests

The following is a translation of the Arabic statement.

Press Statement from the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah of Egypt

Sisi’s call for the Egyptians to descend upon the streets is an attempt to attain ‘Popular consent’ as a cover to bloodily break up the protests.

In a speech given on Wednesday 24/07/2013 on the occasion of the graduation ceremony of two groups from the Navy and Air colleges in the Cairo Governorate, General Abdul Fattah As-Sisi said: “I request from the Egyptians on the day of Jumu’ah, from all of the honorable trustworthy Egyptians, to descend upon the streets to give me the delegated authority to end the potential of violence and terrorism!”.

And these words carry serious and dangerous connotations that must be made clear:

1) It displays in a clear way that everything that has occurred since the appointment of a temporary President and Prime Minister was only done to provide decoration to the coup that occurred on 30/6. And that the real ruler of the land is Sisi and all of the others are only puppets which are moved whenever he decides to move them.

2) The request of Sisi to provide him with the delegated authority to end the ‘Potential of violence and terrorism’ is a request to provide him with the authority to disperse the protests that are in support of the stripped President by force and decisiveness and even if these means by committing massacres and killing the people. And this call will cause the land to enter into a dark tunnel warning of great evils!

3) The radio of the Jewish entity said on Monday 24/06 that the President of the State Shimon Peres has expressed once again in front of influential persons of his great concern by what he described as the ‘devastating results’ upon Israel in the case of the military coup in Egypt failing.

And the radio added that the source of his worry is the lack of certainty in regards to the final success of the coup taken against Doctor Mursi where he warned that Israel will be the first state that will be punished as a result of the coups failure. And it appears that the Israeli worries represent one of the factors that have pushed those behind the coup to take steps of escalation in an attempt to deal with the matter decisively in their favour, steps that could make the country fall into internal killing! This is because they do not care about the number of the sons of the Ummah that may be killed but rather their concern is only about preserving the security of the Jewish entity!

4) It is clear that General Sisi and those who pushed him into taking the steps of making the coup are now in a dilemma and he is not confident that the army leaderships will go along with him. For this reason he is attempting to gather his supporters to silence any potential dissent inside of the military establishment and outside of it against his decisions. And he wants to implement his ‘Future roadmap’ that was announced on 06/30 by force and even if this means by killing people. It is probable however that this gathering will never be sufficient for him and as a result he could seek assistance from forces taken from the army and police force who will be dressed in civilian clothing or even official clothing as has been done in the past whilst exploiting and taking advantage of the media that is under his control to shape to agitate and inflame the people into descending upon the streets. At the same time they will strive to strangle and block any channel that attempts to show the size of the crowds of the opposing side.

5) In conclusion we warn all sides of being dragged into these criminal plans that will cause the Ummah to fall into a sea of blood! And none will benefit from this except for the enemies of the Ummah that are always waiting for opportunities to pounce upon her. We call all those who are sincere from amongst the Army officers and its leadership in Egypt Al-Kinaanah to take the side of their Ummah and the path of its civilization and heritage and not the false pretence of democratic legitimacy or the illusion of the legitimacy of the people! Rather the only legitimacy is to the divine Shar’iyah of the Lord which is manifested in the Islamic Khilafah State, which will fill the earth with prosperity and justice after it having been filled with corruption and oppression.

And do not be like those who divided and differed after clear proofs came to them and for them is a great punishment (Aali ‘Imraan 105)

"Bodhgaya Blasts: Indian Mujahideen forges links with global terror outfit"

Respected Editors,
After Greetings,

We are writing in response to an article published in the DailyMailIndiatoday and Tamil Newspaper Dinamlar that outlined alleged links between the Indian Mujahideen and Hizb ut Tahrir. The article contained a number of inaccuracies and misleading statements which we like to clarify.

Hizb ut Tahrir is a global Islamic political party that seeks to re-establish the Islamic Caliphate State in the Muslim world through intellectual and political discourse far from violence founded on the method of the Prophet (saw). Hizb ut Tahrir was established in 1953, and now works in over 40 countries in Muslim and non-Muslim lands. Despite provocation, censorship, extrajudicial arrests, torture, and even death, it is well documented that there has not been a single incident where the party has wavered from its method and took to the use of violence.

The article labels Hizb ut Tahrir as a ‘banned' organization, which is highly misleading to the reader and incorrect! Hizb ut Tahrir operates and has recognized offices in Lebanon, Tunisia, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, and has media representatives known by person, addresses and phone numbers in the following: Syria, Turkey, Libya, East Africa. As well as working in a number of other countries in the world such as Australia, United Kingdom, Denmark, the Netherlands and the United States, Sweden and others ... Where Hizb ut Tahrir has faced a ban, the decisions have been politically motivated, extra-judicial and primarily designed to placate a special interest group.
With regard to the alleged link between Hizb ut Tahrir and the Indian Mujahideen, we categorically deny that there has everbetween any association between the two organisations, either within India or any other country.

We would like to remind the editorial team at the Daily Mail and India Today of their responsibility of maintaining honest and independent objective reporting. We hope that the paper places the utmost importance on the accuracy and integrity of its reporting and will carefully consider these points mentioned above so as to obviate the need on our part to resort to legal proceedings in the future. We demand that you publish this clarification statement in your newspaper.

Kindly feel free to raise any query at the listed addresses.
Kind Regards,

Q&A: Does Imaan Increase and Decrease? | Sheikh Ata’ Abu Rashtah

As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu,
I would kindly request an answer from you to my question which is: 'Does the Imaan increase and decrease?'
And I would like to add to this a second follow on question which is: 'Does the Imaan vary between one believer and another?'
From Al-Waathiq BiNasrullah
Wa Alaikum us Salaam Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu
1. Imaan is Tasdeeq Al-Jaazim (decisive belief) that conforms to reality and emanates from evidence. Tasdeeq Al-Jaazim means the definite conviction (Qanaa'ah Al-Qaati'ah) that does not allow within it the possibility of doubt or can doubt find a way into it. This is the linguistic meaning itself for Imaan i.e. At-Tasdeeq Al-Jaazim. And conforming to the reality means that the sensed realities affirm it and do not contradict with it. And in order for it to be Tasdeeq Jaazim and in conformity with reality it is necessary for it to come from; and evidence that is definite in terms of its correctness and this is whether the evidence (Daleel) is:
'Aqliy (rational) i.e. the result of a rational study of the sensed realities like the study of the sensed created things so as to deduce by them that Allah سبحانه وتعالى is their creator. Or by studying the revealed speech of Allah (Al-Qur'aan Al-Kareem) so as to deduce that it is the speech of Allah and not the speech of human beings and from there deduce that the one (Muhammad) who came with the speech of Allah is the Messenger of Allah.
Or it can be Naqliy (transmitted) i.e. by way of definite transmission from Allah سبحانه وتعالى in His Kitaab Al-Kareem or from His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم in his Hadeeth that have been related from him by Tawaatur (Mutawaatir) and this includes matters like having Imaan (belief) in the unseen matters, angels, previously revealed books, the previous Prophets, the day of judgement and the Qadar, its good and bad.
"O You who believe, believe in Allah, His Messengers, the Book that He revealed revealed to His Messenger and the book that He revealed before that. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, His Angels, His books, his Messengers and the Day of Judgment has gone far far astray indeed."
And the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said in a Hadeeth recorded by Muslim from 'Abdullah Ibn 'Umar who said: My father 'Umar Ibn Al-Khattaab said: "While we were one day sitting with the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم there appeared before us a man dressed in extremely white clothes and with very black hair. He then said: "O Muhammad, Inform me about Imaan (belief)." He answered, "It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and in Qadar both in its good and in its evil aspects."... Then he said to me: "O 'Umar, do you know who that questioner was?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better." He said: "That was Jibreel. He came to teach you your Deen."
2. This is Imaan (belief) and in this meaning it is the opposite of Kufr (disbelief) and the non-believer is definitely a Kaffir (disbeliever) and there is no such thing as half a believer or half a disbeliever. Allah سبحانه وتعالى says in relation to contrasting between Imaan and Kufr (belief and disbelief):
"Verily, Allah is not shy to set forth a parable of even a mosquito or so much more when it is bigger (or less when it is smaller) than it. And as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, but as for those who disbelieve, they say: "What did Allah intend by this parable?"
And He سبحانه وتعالى said:
"Verily, those who purchase disbelief at the price of Faith, not the least harm will they do to Allah. For them, there is a painful torment."
And He سبحانه وتعالى said:
"But they differed so some of them believed whilst others from them disbelieved."
And there are many additional Ayat that contrast Imaan and Kufr.
3. Imaan according to this meaning that we have mentioned (At-Tasdeeq Al-Jaazim (decisive belief) that conforms with the reality based on evidence) does not increase or decrease because it is Tasdeeq Jaazim (decisive belief) and decisiveness cannot be except complete. So there is no 90% Imaan which then increases to 95% or 100% and then decreases to 95% or 90%. This is because this decrease means that it is not decisive i.e. that it is doubtful. And if this is the case then it is not Imaan (belief) but rather Kufr (disbelief).
4. And for the picture to be clarified we say:
The increase (ziyaadah) and decrease (nuqsaan) are from the Alfaazh Al-Mushtarakah (worded expressions that have a multiple application of meanings), they have come with the meaning of a marginal increase or marginal decrease in regards to expansion and size and it has come with the meaning of strength and weakness. It is the Qareenah (indication) that specifies which of its meanings is intended and therefore if the increase and decrease is linked to Imaan then this indicates that it is related to strength and weakness because it is not correct to attach the marginal increase and decrease to the Tasdeeq Al-Jaazim (decisive belief). And it is upon this basis that we understand the Ayat:
الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
"Those unto whom the people said: "Verily, the people have gathered against you (a great army), therefore, fear them." But it (only) increased them in Imaan, and they said: "Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs (for us).""
"The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His verses (this Qur'aan) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the verses) increase their Imaan; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone)."
"And when the believers saw AlAhzaab (the Confederates), they said: "This is what Allah and his Messenger had promised us, and Allah and his Messenger have spoken the truth, and it only added to their faith and to their submissiveness (to Allah)."
This means that the Imaan of the believers could strengthen and intensify as a result of these matters that Allah سبحانه وتعالى has explained in the above Ayat. This means that the Imaan increases and decreases through acts of obedience, abiding firmly to the Shari'ah rules, by fearing Allah and performing Jihaad in His سبحانه وتعالى's Way. This is all because the Imaan according to the meaning that we have explained (At-Tasdeeq Al-Jaazim confirming to the reality from evidence) is not correct to attribute to it marginal increase or decrease. Otherwise it would not be Jaazim (decisive) and it would change to being doubt and questionable and thus become disbelief.
It is worth noting that when Imaan is mentioned without Qaraa'in (indications) then it indicates that which has been mentioned above and if it has come in other than this meaning then it is the Qareenah that clarifies what it means.
For example the statement of Allah
"Allah would never make your Imaan to be lost."
Here 'Imaan' means your prayers as it was revealed after the Muslims changed the direction of their Qiblah (direction in prayer):
"Thus we have made you a Wasat (just) (and the best) nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad) be a witness over you. And we made the Qiblah (prayer direction towards Jerusalem) which you used to face, only to test those who followed the Messenger (Muhammad) from those who would turn on their heels (i.e. disobey the Messenger). Indeed it was great (heavy) except for those whom Allah guided. And Allah would never make your Imaan to be lost (i.e. Your prayers offered towards Jerusalem). Truly, Allah is full of kindness, the Most Merciful towards mankind."
This was to reassure the Muslims that the prayers that they had offered previously in the direction of the first Qiblah were accepted and that they would attain the reward for them.
And it is also illustrated in the Hadeeth of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم extracted by An-Nisaa'i and narrated by Abu Hurairah who said: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
الْإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ شُعْبَةً، أَفْضَلُهَا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَوْضَعُهَا إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ
"The Imaan is seventy and a few parts, its best is Laa Ilaahah Illallah and its least is to remove the obstruction from the roadway/path."
And it is known that not removing the obstacle from the road does not make that person a disbeliever and as such the Imaan in this Hadeeth means the acts of obedience to Allah in a general manner.
We ask Him سبحانه وتعالى to shape our hearts in full contentment with Imaan and that we abide by the Ahkam of Islam in our words and deeds and that Allah سبحانه وتعالى raises us with those whom He has favoured from the Prophets, truthful, martyrs and righteous. And what good company they are.

Q&A: Hizb ut Tahrir and the Syrian Revolution | Sheikh Ata’ Abu Rashtah

Greetings to the Scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah from Mamoun Shehadeh, journalist and political analyst
I would like to ask you, what were the motivating factors that made Hizb ut Tahrir involve itself in the Syrian revolution and why did it not do so in other places?
From Mamoun Shehadeh
Wa Alaikum us Salaam Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu
Our work my dear brother is the same and it does not change in every place that we are able to work. Our work is carrying the Dawah for the resumption of the Islamic way of life via the establishment of the Rightly Guided Khilafah in accordance to the methodology that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم demonstrated to us from the time that he was tasked with the mission in Makkah Al-Mukarramah until he established the State in Al-Madeenah Al-Munawarah. So we make contact with the Ummah to call them to the Haqq (truth) and that the Khilafah is a great Fard that it is obligatory for them to work towards. We interact with the Ummah upon this, working with it and through it to accomplish this matter. In addition we make contact with the people of power and request their support to establish the Khilafah and we advise them not to waste their efforts in vain by finding it sufficient to change people without changing the entire man-made secular system.
Rather they need to exert their efforts, strengths and sacrifices to change the man-made system from its roots with its rulers and laws, and establish the Khilafah.
We make this matter clear to them comprehensively just as it has come in Islam, so the one who responds positively to us we direct him with the correct direction whilst the one who does not respond cannot be coerced into it but rather we make Duaa for him to be guided.
This is what we did before the revolutions, what we do during them and what we will do afterwards. However the revolutions provided a wider range for the people to listen to the word of truth without them fearing the security agencies like the situation had been before when the people would keep their distance from us fearing the security agencies. For this reason it is noticeable today to see the people surrounding themselves around us and turning towards us and the presence of a strong active movement of interaction between us and them. And as such it is noticeable that the scope of the Dawah that we carry has widened and increased from before because the fear barrier has been removed from the people.
And it is because of this that you have noticed the strength of our movement and its increase in the Ummah more than it had been previously noticeable. This is not because we were not working before but rather because the people before the revolutions had been fearful to move in our direction out of fear from the security apparatus which would pursue us and all those whom we made contact with. So this created a hindrance to our work and placed a barrier in front of the people if they wanted to approach us.
And it is important to make known that the strength of our work is not noticeable in the areas of revolutions alone but rather it can be noticed in other regions and occasionally it can have greater momentum there than in the regions of revolutions. Perhaps you have seen or heard of our activities in Pakistan for example where the strength is clear and on par or similar to what is noticed in Syria. This is despite the absence of a revolution in Pakistan ate the present time.
In conclusion, our work was present before the revolution but it widened in a way that caught the attention during the revolution and specifically in Syria. This is because the barrier of fear had collapsed in the face of the people uprising against oppression and tyranny.
This is what is new in this matter but we had been working before the revolutions, through them and after them.
However if you meant by the wording 'involvement in the revolution' that we now have a military wing, then this is an error and this does not exist. We do not have a military wing attached to us either in the past or anytime after. This is because we are a political party whose ideology is Islam that does not perform any material actions in the stage of Dawah. Rather it only requests the support from the people of power so they can establish the state just as that which happened with the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم in the second Bayah (pledge) of Al-Aqabah. And it is hoped that this will be realised soon.
"Allah always achieves His aim. Allah has appointed a measure for all things."

Q&A: What made America turn against Morsi?

America is still reluctant to describe what happened in Egypt as a coup. Yet it encourages the roadmap announced by the new Interim authority. On 11/7/2013 reported a spokeswoman for the U.S. State Department saying: "The roadmap drawn by the Provisional Authority for the next stage is encouraging".
Jen Psaki, the spokeswoman for the U.S. State Department, said that the rule of President Mohamed Morsi was "not democratic", as stated in the (Egyptian seventh day on 12/7/2013).
AlJazeera.Net also reported White House spokesman Jay Carney telling reporters on 11/07/2013 "We assess how the authorities behave and how they deal with the current situation", in reference to the announcement on 3/7 2013 given by the defence minister and the army commander in Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, in removing Mohamed Morsi, and the appointment of Adli Mansour, President of the Constitutional Court as a transitional president.
So what made America turn against Morsi, despite supporting him from the beginning of his term?
Why hasn't America described what happened as a coup, and continue to "assess" (the situation) until today! And what could result from all of that?
The answer is explained by reviewing the following points:
1 - In the first round of the presidential elections held on 23-24 May 2012, Morsi was unable to win the elections (outright), where votes were distributed among several candidates. The second round took place on 16-17 June 2012 and Morsi was announced the winner with 51.73% (about 13 million votes) against Ahmed Shafiq with 48.27% (about 12 million votes). This means that almost a half of the voters did not want Morsi as their president, preferring one of the men of the former regime against which they rebelled.
It is worth mentioning that the announcement of the result of the presidential elections was delayed, indicating the presence of something behind the scenes. Then it was resolved by declaring, the victory of Morsi over Ahmed Shafiq after Mohamed Morsi gave assurances to the Americans that he would abide by the treaties and conventions concluded by the former regime, primarily the Camp David treaty, a matter which is important to America, as evidenced by American statements before and after the elections. The U.S. Ambassador declared to the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Rai, published on 30/11/2012: "The United States is committed to the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel and considers it crucial for peace and stability in the region, and for the prosperity of the people of Egypt and Israel in the first place. We also consider this treaty the foundation for peace-making efforts and stability in the whole region. We are of course pleased that the Government of Egypt has repeatedly expressed that it would honour all Egypt's international obligations", adding "We encourage Egypt and Israel to continue their direct discussions over the security situation in the Sinai and other issues of common interest; and we affirm that security in the Sinai is the most important first and foremost" - indicating that America and the Jewish entity were behind the Egyptian regime's campaign for months against the armed groups that call for jihad with the enemy.
2 - This is why America supported him and worked to keep him on his throne. The first thing he achieved for America's interests and for the security of the Jews is what he did for the cease-fire between the Jewish entity and the Hamas government in Gaza. It was a true ceasefire, to the point that Hamas put some of its members at the dividing line between them and the Jewish entity, to prevent any abuse or shots at the Jewish entity! America has praised what Morsi had done, in executing its policy regarding the subject of Gaza.
It also supported him at the issue of the constitutional resolution related to his immunity against the judiciary. That day, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland defended the Egyptian president saying:"President Morsi entered into discussions with the judiciary, with other stakeholders in Egypt. As I said, I think we don't yet know what the outcome of those is going to be, but that's a far cry from an autocrat just saying my way or the highway." (The Middle East News Agency 27.11.2012).
Nuland was specifically denying the words of the protesters, who described the President Morsi as dictator or new Pharaoh of Egypt, defending him and the decisions he had taken.
America also backed him regarding the resolution of leadership in the country, so it removed some of the army commanders, led by the defence minister and army chief Hussein Tantawi and Chief of Staff Sami Annan, where Morsi issued a constitutional decree in relation to this, and did not face any significant opposition.
It supported him on the subject of the Constitution, where the U.S. spokeswoman Nuland said that: "Mrs. Clinton talked during her visit to Cairo and at her meeting with the Egyptian President Morsi about the importance of the issuance of the Constitution, which protects all the rights of all Egyptians", (Middle East 27/11/012). The American political influence on the rule of Morsi and on his opponents is clear.
Thus the Constitution was adopted by U.S. approval, which is a "revised" copy of the 1971 constitution of the former regime, after conducting a referendum in which 32.9% voted - a third of the people eligible to vote, whilst two-thirds boycotted it. The result of the referendum was 63.8% of the actual voting third accepted it! So the majority of the people were not happy with the Constitution, and nor with the president, or his decisions.
3 - America has tried to calm the situation and convince people of accepting the president and his decisions and the constitution so as to create stability of the regime, which it has maintained the survival of its hand after the revolution. However, the stability it sought was not achieved by Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood (on the grounds that they are the president's party and the largest organised party after the abolition of the National Party). It expected they work to stabilize the situation, as the National Party did for the deposed president for 30 years. For America is concerned that Egypt will be a centre of stability for American influence, not stability for Egypt's sake. America wanted the stability of Egypt as a safe platform for its influence and its projects, but things were unstable.
What worsened the situation was the confusion brought by the Presidency over decision-making, and then retracting decisions under pressure; as well as arbitrary decision-making without consultation with his allies, without trying to convince them, without the process of testing views of the Street and without the creation of public opinion before taking any decision. Anarchy and attempts to carry out a revolution against the President continued throughout this year while he remained in office.
Then things were disrupted at his lengthy speech on 26.06.2013. For Dr Morsi looked shaky when he confessed that he committed mistakes. He did not identify them, but he was referring to the Constitutional Declaration on 22/11/2012 which incited people against him and encouraged them to call for his removal. In his last speech on 02/07/2013 Mohamed Morsi reiterated that he made mistakes, and some shortcomings happened from him, but that he was prepared to correct all of that, which suggested that he was accepting a compromise, after the army threatened him by giving 48 hours' notice. This means his removal was decided by the army and those behind the army, which is America, despite the fact that Morsi was supported by America for taking such decisions. But when the negative results (of these decisions) appeared America abandoned him and left him fall; it rather conspired against him, as it does with all of its agents who do not take a lesson!
4 - So we have seen America abandon him and disclaim his decisions. On 02/07/2013 CNN quoted senior officials in the U.S. administration saying that "the U.S. Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson and other officials in the White House said that the claims brought by the Egyptians in their protests coincide to a large extent with the reforms demanded by Washington and its allies weeks ago." This is confirmed by what Reuters quoted from a statement by the White House on 02/07/2013: "President Obama encouraged President Morsi to take steps to clarify that he responds to the demands of the demonstrators". Obama said: "the current crisis can only be resolved through a political process." This meant America's abandonment of Morsi and the search for a new political process. Nothing came in the statement that it supports the Egyptian elected president, but it asks him to respond to the demands of the demonstrators who were demanding the overthrow of the President! When the coup took place, it was announced that a meeting of President Obama with his senior advisers at the White House took place about what happened in Egypt, and he then said: "The Egyptian armed forces should move quickly and responsibly to restore full power to a civilian government as soon as possible" (Reuters 03/07/2013). Obama did not condemn the coup; he did not even call it a military coup, nor demanded the return of Morsi after his removal, and nor to overturn the judiciary verdict of one year prison against the Prime Minister of Morsi and his removal from office! He rather demanded the return to power of a civilian government, any government other than the current one, indicating the approval of America of the coup and the removal of Morsi and his government. Indeed, the U.S. administration declared, saying: "He (meaning Morsi) did not listen to the voices of the people or respond to them" (ibid.) just as the Egyptian army command said that "President Mohamed Morsi did not meet the demands of the people." It is known that the leadership of the Egyptian army is controlled by America, and almost the majority of U.S. aid amounting to one billion and half a year goes to the army.
5 - Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood did not realize these matters; rather it seems Dr Morsi was deceived by U.S. support after he agreed to follow its policies and maintain its interests and treaties held by the Egyptian republic system, especially the Camp David treaty. Where it removed the former leaders of the army and brought others and made them match with Morsi. So he imagined that America would not abandon him, where he was convinced that America wanted to let the so-called moderate or centrist Islamists reach power, and will remain supportive of them, as it happened in Turkey. He did not realize that America could give up any agent once used or finished off, if he could not achieve stability in governance of the country, and that it would bring another agent to maintain its influence, as it happened with his predecessor, Hosni Mubarak, who was most faithful to it - preparing his son Gamal to succeed him.
But when the popular movements surprised it, and it found him (Mubarak) too weak to address these moves and restore stability to Egypt so as to be a suitable environment for the continuation of American interests, it put him aside and rode the wave of popular movements.
This matter was repeated with Morsi. So when it found him unable to provide stability for its continued safe interests and influence without disturbance it threw him aside.
This was not a new matter, but had been apparent for some time. The website of "civil Egypt movement", which is a secular site, reported more than two months ago, i.e. on 22.04.2013 under the title 'American conditions for the approval of military intervention that do not appear as a military coup'! The website stated that "a personality, whom we have reservations naming, has visited the United States in the past few days and returned after he conducted a round of interviews and extensive deliberations with the executives in the U.S. administration and the Pentagon and National Security, where the US position towards the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood was discussed." The site mentioned that John Kerry, who attended the meeting, spoke about an important role for the Egyptian army in controlling the events once the people came to the squares, and in preventing the outbreak of civil war between the different movements. Kerry then added, saying: he was shocked by the low capacity of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the confusion of their talk, which is not conducive to something. He confirmed that he trusts that the army will carry out its role at the right time. That personality mentioned: that talk was about the alternative to the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood and the situation of the army regarding the transition process ahead. The website quoted one influential in the Pentagon, who is a member of the American Brookings Institution, and he attended the meeting as saying: "They concluded that even if Morsi was convinced that he must go, or he will leave willy-nilly, his supporters would not accept, and here comes the role of the Egyptians once again that they have to move in large numbers to support the military and demonstrate demanding the departure of Morsi." These talks were published on 22/4/2013, more than two months before the coup. It is clear that America had orchestrated the coup since that day, and wanted to resolve matters in that way. The decisive moment was on 03/07/2013, and it declined from describing it as a coup. It however went on giving ambiguous and gradual statements, ranging from "assessing" the situation, and continues to "assess", and that Morsi is "undemocratic" and drawing a roadmap by the Provisional Authority "is encouraging," as stated in the question.
6 - The deposed president's supporters came out to the squares to protest. If they continued their protests and increased momentum, comprehensiveness and won the general public, this would be enough to embarrass the military administration and embarrass America, which might make it resort to respond to the movement of the Muslim Brotherhood. This is especially since they have trump cards in their hands; that are he is the president elected by the people, recognized by the Constitutional Court, the military, international institutions, the United States and all the countries. Moreover, he did not do any act that made him worthy of removal according to these countries' norms. He came to power by elections admitted to be fair and he was ousted by military force, a matter that gives them power and legitimacy in their actions, and attracts others with them.
Those who supported the coup and removed the President are in a critical situation from this angle, where they refuse the military rule and its intervention and insist on the electoral process, and at the same time they support the change by the military! Therefore, the Muslim Brotherhood are able to cause the coup to fail and return to power, or at least to have the major and influential share in the new situation, especially if they incited the emotions. If however the deposed president's supporters accepted negotiations and concessions, they will lose significantly and they will regret it without avail, and their efforts would have been lost in vain in the corridors of politics and for the lack of awareness of its happenings!
7 - To conclude this answer with a real fact. It is said that the one that pleases the people with the wrath of Allah, Allah will let him to the people, where his situation will be disturbed and his relation with the people will worsen. This is quite perceived and obvious. Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood tried to please America, so they agreed to its projects and to the Camp David treaty that abandons Palestine, weakens Sinai and consents to the Jewish entity that usurps Palestine and recognizes it. Morsi gave up many of his slogans, announced the approval of the republican system and the secular, civil democratic government. He also swore on that when he was appointed as a president, leaving Islam and the rule of Islam behind his back. He did all of that to please America and to remain on a throne of twisted limbs. So he ended up in the loss of dunia and akhira, unless he repents and amends his matter. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said the truth:
من أرضى الناس بسخط الله وكله الله إلى الناس ومن أسخط الناس برضا الله كفاه الله مؤنة الناس
"Whoever pleases the people with the wrath of Allah, Allah will let him to the people; and whoever angers the people for the pleasure of Allah, He will suffice him of the help of the people." Tirmidhi.
8 - The final conclusion is to remind that we have already advised Dr Morsi twice in two leaflets: the first on 25/06/2012, and the second on 13/08/2012, where we said in the first:
"... And then a pure advice for the sake Allah, the Almighty we deliver it to the new President in Egypt: Fear of Allah and return back from calling for a civil democratic state, with secular thought, methodology and passion. For indeed returning to the truth is a virtue, so as not to lose the whole dunia after you have lost most of it after the Military Council curtailed your authority and trimmed off your responsibilities ... In order you do not lose the akhira by pleasing America and the West through the civil democratic state, and by enraging the Lord of America and the West through abstaining from the establishment of the Khilafah and the application of the shar' of Allah ... There is no doubt that you have read the hadeeth of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم:
من أرضى الناس بسخط الله وكله الله إلى الناس ومن أسخط الناس برضا الله كفاه الله مؤنة الناس
"Whoever pleases the people with the wrath of Allah, Allah will let him to the people; and whoever angers the people for the pleasure of Allah, He will suffice him of the help of the people" Tirmidhi, and Abu Nu'aym in al-Hilya from Aayisha.
This advice is exclusively for the sake of Allah The Almighty, where we do not want from you a reward or a gratitude, except preventing the gloating of the unbelievers, their agents and all the enemies of Islam when they laugh with their full mouths hearing that their project of the democratic civil state became advocated by Muslims, the Muslim Brotherhood; and indeed we belong to Allah, and to Him we return."
We said in the second: "And we conclude the statement by repeating the advice to the Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, even if he did not take our first advice ... For we will not give up giving advice to every Muslim, especially if engaged in ruling. So we follow up the first advice with another, saying: Though the arms of America extend to the old and new political mediums, yet it is possible to cut them off; and to address the error of receiving them once is better than persisting in the error of receiving them time and time again. Indeed it is not good to deal with the American arms through courtship and seeking closeness ... Rather they have to be cut off and amputated, otherwise the result will be regret at a time of no avail! The Kenana of Allah in His land has strength and invincibility; and its precedence in history is remarkable. And whoever is with Allah truly he will not be defeated, for the verses of the Holy Quran speak of this, and the Egyptian president has read that in his recent speech:
والله غالبٌ على أمره ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون
"And Allah has command over His Affairs, but most people do not know"
Yes, Allah said the truth,
"And who is more true than Allah in speaking"
Have we proclaimed the truth! O our Lord, bear witness!
Have we proclaimed the truth! O our Lord, bear witness!
Have we proclaimed the truth! O our Lord, bear witness!

Q&A: The One Who Eats Ribaa (Usury) | Sheikh Ata’ Abu Rashtah

Assalaamu Alaikum,
If you permit I would like to ask about the one who commits the act of Ribaa (usury) and if he will be in the fires of Hell forever? It relates to the Tafseer of Aayah 275 as found in the book At-Tayseer Fee Usool At-Tafseer. Thank you Brother.
From Adi Victoria from the Indonesian town of Samarinda.
Wa Alaikumu Assalaam Wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu,
There are two kinds of people who deal with Ribaa (usury):
First: The kind who believes that Ribaa is Haram and despite this still deals with Ribaa. So this is someone who commits a major sin. He receives a punishment in this life from the Khilafah state and if he is not punished with the Shari'ah punishment in this life then he will have the punishment of the Hereafter and so he will enter the fire but not forever as long as he did not make the Ribaa as halal. So this is the case where he believes that Ribaa is Haraam but still perpetrated that act of disobedience (Ma'siyah). And the one who is 'Aasiy (disobedient) and dies upon Islam then he will not abide in the fire forever due to the saying of the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم in a Hadeeth that is Muttafaq Alaihi (agreed upon) related by Anas Bin Maalik who said that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ مِنْ قَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ
"The one who says: Laa Ilaahah Illallah will be taken out of the fire..."
So this means that he will not abide in it forever.
Second: The one who makes Ribaa Halaal i.e. he states that Ribaa is Halaal and then dies upon this. This kind is a Kaffir (disbeliever) because he has denied that which must be known from the Deen by necessity. Ribaa is Haram in the Quran Al-Kareem by Qat'iyah (definite) Ayat, Qat'iyah Ath-Thuboot (definite in transmission) and Qat'yah Ad-Dalaalah (definite in meaning). So whoever makes Ribaa Halal and dies upon that then he is a disbeliever and this kind will abide in the fire forever. So this is the case of the one who used to deal with Ribaa and deny that Ribaa was Haram. He therefore dies upon disbelief and will stay in the fire (Hell) forever.
The evidence for this is the speech of Allah سبحانه وتعالى in Ayah 275 of Surah Al-Baqarah:
"Those who eat Ribaa (usury) will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a person beaten by Shaitaan (Satan) leading Him to insanity. That is because they say: "Trading is only like Ribaa (usury)," whereas Allah has made trading Halaal and made Ribaa (usury) Haraam. So whosoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops eating Ribaa (usury) shall not be punished for the past; his case is for Allah (to judge); but whoever returns [to Ribaa (usury)], such are the dwellers of the Fire - they will abide therein forever."
So the last part of the Ayah came commenting upon those:
قَالُوا إِنَّمَا الْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ الرِّبَا
'They say: Trading is only like Ribaa'.
This means that they made Ribaa Halal like trade and they disbelieved in the speech of Allah of Allah
'And Allah has made trading Halaal and made Ribaa Haraam'.
So those whom it reaches that Ribaa is Haram and not Halal and then they believe in this, make Taubah (repentance) and leaving their dealings with Ribaa and they find their capital sums sufficient then Allah سبحانه وتعالى will forgive them by His Favour and Forbearance that which occurred in the past. If however they insist upon Ribaa being Halal and continue to deal with it whilst denying and rejecting the speech of Allah سبحانه وتعالى:
وَأَحَلَّ اللَّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا
"And Allah has made trading Halaal and made Ribaa Haraam",
and then die upon that, then they will be from those who the speech of Allah applies upon:
أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُون
"Such are the dwellers of the Fire - they will abide therein forever."
The following is the summary of what is understood from the Shariah texts:
1. That the one who perpetrates the act of dealing with Ribaa whilst believing that it is Haram, then this person is 'Aasiy (disobedient) and Faasiq (rebellious to Allah's Commands). If he dies upon Islam then he will not abide in the Hell fire forever but rather he will be punished in it for as long as Allah wishes and then is removed from the fire by His Permission, Subhaanahu.
2. The one who perpetrates the act of dealing with Ribaa whilst denying that it is Haram meaning that he has made it Halal for himself. If he then dies upon that then he would have died upon disbelief (Kufr) and spend eternity in the fire.
Allah has made us from amongst the truthful believers who make Haram that which Allah has made Haram and make Halal that which Allah has made Halal. Those who abide by the Ahkam Ash-Shariah as they have come, those whom Allah has honoured with Islam in this life and as a result he grants them victory over their enemies and honours them with Islam in the Hereafter by admitting them into His سبحانه وتعالى's Jannah and raising them amongst the Prophets, truthful, martyrs and righteous. And how good a company these will be to be with.

Speech from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey for the Khilafah Conference in Jakarta

Speech from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey for the Khilafah Conference in Jakarta

[Speech by Mr. Mahmut Kar, Head of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Turkey, at the Global Khilafah Conference in Jakarta that took place on Sunday, 23 Rajab 1434 H, corresponding to 02 June 2013 CE]
Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem

Praise be to Allah, Praise be to Allah Lord of the Worlds, Praise be to Allah that sent His Messenger with guidance and the true religion to be supreme to all other religions, even though the polytheists may hate it, and even though the oppressors may hate it. Praise be to Allah, Who honored the Muslims with the Khilafah, and unified them under the leadership, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the first and most honorable leader of the Islamic state, and upon his family, companions and supporters.

Dear brothers and sisters,

I greet you with the most beautiful greeting, the greeting of Islam, Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmat Allahu wa Barakatu....
I carry with me greetings from the Islamic lands, the cradle of the Khilafah, the last capital of the Ottoman Islamic State, from the beautiful and pure city of Istanbul. I carry with me greetings from Istanbul.
I carry greetings from the children of Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih Khan, who realized the tidings of the Prophet (saw) when it was the capital of Eastern Rome.
I carry with me greetings from the descendants of the Commander Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih Khan, who rose to conquer Istanbul by carrying ships through land and dismantling the chains of the gulf and launching bombs to achieve the honor of realizing the tidings of Allah's Prophet (saw).
Even though it is from far away, I carry greetings from your brothers in the Islamic Aqeedah, your brothers that sincerely love you, that are elatedly and vibrantly watching the impressiveness of your work that sends panic into the hearts of the disbelievers (Kuffar).
I carry with me greetings from all parts of Turkey, from Ankara, Bursa, Adana, Urfa, Diyarbakir, Van, Erzurum, Konya, Adiyaman, Bataman, Gaziantep, Mersin, Hatay, and from Yalova, Izmit and Istanbul.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters!
I come from Istanbul.
I come from Istanbul, the beautiful city of which Allah's Prophet (saw) gave tidings of its conquering.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
"لتفتحن القسطنطينية ولنعم الأمير أميرها، ولنعم الجيش ذلك الجيش"
"Constantinople will be conquered, what an excellent leader is its leader and what an excellent army is its army."
Istanbul remained the center of the Islamic State for almost 400 years, where the Islamic lands were ruled from its capital of Istanbul.
Until the beginning of the twentieth century, when the Khilafah State and its lands were invaded by the Imperial Kafir England with the help of Turkish and Arab traitors.
Up until 89 years ago, on a day like this day, meaning on 28 Rajab 1345 AH, corresponding to March 3 1924 CE, the Khilafah was abolished, where the Ummah's shield was broken on that day the Khaleefah was banished from Istanbul.
So this is Istanbul, the last capital of the Khilafah that has only lived wretched days since that day.
Consequently my dear brothers in Indonesia that is drowning in grief due to the absence of the Khilafah, brothers who are pained due to the abolishment of the Khilafah, despite your being thousands of kilometers away from the center of the Islamic world. Indeed all the Muslims from Indonesia to Morocco are drowning in sadness due to the abolishment of the Khilafah.
All the Muslims, in Turkey as well, have lived with great suffering after the fall of their protective shield - the Khilafah State. Likewise, some of the scholars were executed, such as Sheikh Saeed, who was executed for starting an uprising in the face of the system of Kufr that caused the abolishment of the Khilafah. Similarly, some of the Muslim scholars were banished or humiliated, so they were crushed under heavy rubble and shocks.
Look at how the Egyptians poet Shawki designed poetry around the sadness he felt due to the abolishment of the Khilafah:

Minarets and platforms erupted over you,
And kingdoms and regions wept over you,
India is distressed and Egypt is saddened,
Weeping over you with streaming tears,
And al-Sham asks Iraq and Persia,
Was the Khilafah erased from the Earth?
And all the people opened a funeral,
And sat mournfully lamenting,
Oh Men, for the free man was buried alive,
Was killed without guilt or fault

My dear brothers,
The second worst shock, after the abolishment of the Khilafah, happened with the occupation of the Holy Land by the Jews. We painfully watched the crusaders control this land with dirty games, the land that the leader of the Islamic Ummah, Salahudeen al-Ayoubi, had previously freed and purified.
Look at how Sultan Abdul-Hamid Khan had replied to the Jewish leader Herzl, when in 1919 he suggested paying money to the Ottoman Khilafah State in exchange for the Holy Land.
"If the Islamic Khilafah is one day destroyed then they will be able to take Palestine without a price. But while I am alive, I would rather push a sword into my body than see the land of Palestine severed and given away from the Islamic State. This will not be."
Unfortunately, the first country to recognize this Jewish entity that occupied this land was the secular Turkish Republic that was established on the ruins of Abdul-Hamid's Khilafah.
Sadly as well, Turkey is the country that allowed America to occupy Iraq and Turkey is also the country that America used as a ground corridor to enter its troops into Iraq.
Likewise, Turkey is also the country that at the present time agreed with the United States and the Western countries to prevent the establishment of the Khilafah state in Syria.

Dear brothers and sisters!
We thank Allah, the Lord of the worlds, that Hizb ut Tahrir was founded under the leadership of the eminent scholar of the distinguished personality, Sheikh Taqiuddin al-Nabahani, after we had experienced the two great shocks that shook the Muslims - the abolishment of the Khilafah and the occupation of the lands of Palestine. Thus, Hizb ut Tahrir has undertaken the work of a campaign of revival to reestablish the Khilafah state, of whose return there are tidings.
Since that day Hizb ut Tahrir has been the only hope of the Islamic Ummah, that exposes all the Kaffir's plots, and the nightmare that haunts them in their beds. It is Hizb ut Tahrir that shows the Ummah the betrayal of the treacherous governments, it is Hizb ut Tahrir that calls to the right the communities and leaders that insist on the wrong, and Hizb ut Tahrir that calls to nothing but good and fears none but Allah, and Hizb ut Tahrir is the party that seeks goodness behind its aim.
Likewise, Hizb ut Tahrir realizes that the only salvation for the Ummah is the establishment of the Khilafah State, and that the Islamic Ummah has provided the support and assistance to Hizb ut Tahrir in the revival campaign that it started.
What about the Kuffar? ... They have lost their minds from the return of the Islamic Ummah to its origins. They have become distraught. They have seen the crumbling of Western thought, so they rose like hungry wolves attacking the Islamic lands to prevent the awakening of the Muslims. Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Somalia, Kashmir, Chechnya, Bosnia, and Syria... They have exploited the resources of the Islamic lands and made the countries as agents and controlled them through the loans that they grant them. The only aim of all these occupations and colonization is to prevent the establishment of a new Khilafah state in the Islamic territories.
Despite all of these policies of occupation and exploitation, and despite the pressure by the treacherous governments, and despite the propaganda of malignant ideas like democracy and moderate Islam, despite all that the Muslims have awakened and risen and took to the squares, until they reached the palaces of the dictatorial governments, until they opposed all the tyrant (Taghout) regimes whether they were moderate or not.
The Muslims, pushed by their connection to Islam and its holiness, took to the streets and marched when the Prophet (saw) was insulted. The occupied lands have been irrigated with the blood of the martyrs. And the Muslims who want an Islamic Khilafah have reached in the hundreds of thousands, in fact millions. They took to the streets chanting: The people want an Islamic Khilafah! There is no God but Allah, and the Khilafah is Allah's promise!

My Dear Brothers and Sisters!
This confrontation, lasting 100 years, between Islam and the Kafir West has moved to a point where the confrontation has become a global confrontation. This confrontation is a difficult confrontation that has lasted 14 centuries, between Islam and Kufr. This confrontation is the confrontation between the political parties that are integrated with the democratic system and funded by the West and made up of agent rulers, and the Muslims who work for an Islamic Khilafah in the face of the "Moderate Islam" and "Democratic Islam" that is sought to be implemented.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters!
There absolutely is no strength strong enough to stand before the Muslims' course towards the Khilafah; this is because there is no longer an alternative idea or system that the Kuffar can use to replace the collapsing capitalist ideology.
And humanity no longer believes in the ability of any ideology other than Islam to provide it with well being and tranquility.
Likewise the Kuffar and the rulers of the Islamic lands who are loyal to the West use the idea of "Moderate Islam" and "Democratic Islam" to distract the Muslims and hypnotize them for many more long years before the Muslims dominate their lives, before the establishment of the Khilafah state.
And the United States and the West work to peddle this project via Turkey to the Middle East and Central Asia.
So they call for the absence of a system of government specific to Islam, and thus the ability to rule with Islam and democracy simultaneously. And they work to hypnotize the Muslims with the marketing of this idea at the hands of their collaborators.
Likewise they have ruled the Islamic lands for many years using the dictators.
And when they saw the awakening of the Muslims and the collapse of the dictators they started to understand the meaning of fear and worry. So they supported the Islamists that adopt the democratic system, and transferred them to power in place of the collapsed dictators. In Turkey, they transferred the Islamists to power after the Kemalist dictator. As for Tunisia, they stole the Muslims' revolution after the collapse of the secularist Zein al-Abideen, and supported the democratic Islamists headed by Rashid al-Ghanoosh. And in Egypt they oriented the revolution and supported another democratic Islamist, Muhammad Mursi, after the dictator Mubarak had made the people of Egypt cried tears of blood for 40 years.  Likewise in Libya, they supported the moderates after they exploited their resources.
And they pointed to Turkey as a model while they perpetuated this against the Islamic people and lands. And they pointed to the Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan as a model as well.
And the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic, Erdogan, spends night and day propagating democracy to the Islamic lands, and when he went to the Egypt free of the dictator, he indicated the need for it to adopt secularism, as he said that democracy is from Islam.
And in Syria while he claims to support the people in their confrontation against the murderer Bashar al-Assad, he also indicates his support of the establishment of a democratic Syria.
And while Muslims took to the streets in the Islamic lands to express their reaction to the film that insulted Allah's Prophet (saw), the Muslims in Turkey remained silent. When the Prime Minister was asked about the absence of a reaction from the Turkish people, he answered, "In the last past 10 years, extremes have been curbed and we acted like a lightning rod."

My Dear Brethren!
The Muslims in the Islamic lands chant in squares about their wanting an Islamic State and Khilafah only, and not for democracy.  The Tunisian public wants an Islamic Khilafah, the Egyptian public wants an Islamic Khilafah, the Yemeni public wants an Islamic Khilafah, and the Syrian public wants an Islamic Khilafah....
And what do you want, democracy? Or an Islamic Khilafah?
The Islamic Ummah, with its awakening and this revolutionary movement that it started, showed the world: That democracy, that is considered the cap of Islam and model of Kufr initiated by Turkey, has no place in the Islamic lands. And after the Ummah's awakening every sighted person sees this.

Oh Brothers!
The awakening of the Muslims and this revolution reminds the Kuffar of the slap of Abdul Hamid to the Jews who offered to buy the land of Palestine. This slap showed them that Palestine is not for sale. Currently the slap that the revolution achieved showed that this land is not suitable for democracy and the plots of Imperialism.

Our People in Indonesia!
The movement of the awakening that had been started by Hizb ut Tahrir 60 years ago, and your beneficial works in the past and present, and the Khilafah Revolution that started in the lands of al-Sham, have breathed into the body of the Muslims a new spirit of hope once again.
And especially in us, the Muslims of Turkey, for it extended us with vitality with the addition of more movement atop of our movement and effort atop of our movement.
The calls of the Amir of Hizb ut-Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, and his statements giving tidings of the Khilafah, Allah willing, and his call for the unification, cooperation, and solidarity of the Muslims and to not to adhere to anything other than Allah's rope, has increased the hope of the entire Islamic Ummah. And the advice of the sincere leader, Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, to the Muslims to resist and seek help from Allah and not from the Kuffar, has intensified their patience and steadfastness.

My Honorable Brothers and Sisters!
May Allah bless you in this work and save it from any calamity and cunning plot.
May Allah crown this work of yours with the Khilafah State that Islam and its people will be honored by and by which Kufr and its people will be humiliated.
May Allah bless us in the Syrian Revolution and protect it from every cunning conspiracy.
May Allah seal the Syrian Revolution with the Khilafah State that Islam and its people will be honored by and Kufr and its people shall be humiliated.
"And that day the believers will rejoice. In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful."

The last of our Prayers, Praise is for Allah Lord of the World
