Is there a Mu'tassim to Answer the Cries from the Bereaved of ash-Sham?

Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal, in his speech at the Arab ministerial meeting held in Cairo on Sunday evening 09/01/2013, confirmed that any move to the rescue of the Syrian people is not considered a foreign interference, demanding that the international community uses its efforts to stop this aggression against the Syrian people before this people perish.

We ask him and the Ruwaibidat (the ignorant who speak of worldly matters) who heard him at their meeting in Cairo: Where is the spirit of al-Mu'tassim within you? Are you not ashamed of appealing to the Kufr leaders and the Kufr armies to put an end to the tyrant of ash-Sham, when each of you is a tyrant of his sort? Where are the armies with which you have and still are looting the wealth of the Ummah? Or do you reserve these armies for the hour of need, when the Ummah will rise against your oppression and betrayal?

Oh Ummah of Islam:
You have come to understand the true nature of these so-called "leaders", and that there is not one from among them who possesses the spirit of al-Mu'tassim, rather they are begging our crusader enemies for the protection of the women and the children of ash-Sham, those crusaders that do not care for the Believer nor do they protect him! We have not forgotten their crimes, and the poet illustrated the truth of these "leaders" when he said:

Ya Rab Wa Muatasemah
cried out from the mouths of orphans
It fell upon their ears yet
not stirring the valor of Al Mutasem
Do not blame the wolf's attack
while the shepherd is the enemy of the herd

We say to al-Faisal and those gathered with him in Cairo:

You know with complete certainty of the sanctity of the blood and the defense of the human soul, and you know with complete certainty that you are Ruwaibidat who are busy with the Dunya and service to your masters in the West. We did not find in you resoluteness nor an honorable role to play in addressing the crimes of the Zionist Jews, neither before nor after.

But we address anyone from the Ummah of Islam who has the slightest trace of Iman in his heart, the first of them, the soldiers and officers in the armies who are able to clear out this humiliation and pain. Did you not hear of the verse?

"What reason could you have for not fighting in the Way of Allah – for those men, women and children who are oppressed and say, 'Our Lord, take us out of this city whose inhabitants are wrongdoers! Give us a protector from You! Give us a helper from You!'?"
(an-Nisaa, 4:75)

Did you not hear of the Hadith of your Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم:
إنما الإمام جنة يقاتل من ورائه ويتقى به
"The Imam is a shield; from behind him they fight and find protection." (Muslim)

His saying "the Imam is a shield" means that he is a protection that prevents the enemy from harming the Muslims and protects Islam, and the meaning of "from behind him they fight" means that with his help they fight the Kuffar and any vice... and all other people of corruption and injustice [from the explanation of Imam an-Nawawi to Sahih Muslim].

You are the sons of this Ummah that gave birth to heroes, so hasten to the obedience of the Merciful and to the Bayah to the Khaleefah who will lead you to the victory of the Deen of Allah and the elevation of His word, so you will gain success in both worlds. And beware of becoming the soldiers of Fir'aun, who will definitely perish soon, through the aid of Allah, the One and Only.
وَاللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
"Allah is in control of His affair. However, most of mankind do not know."

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
