Russian Authorities Decide to Physically Eliminate Members of Hizb ut Tahrir

On 15 September 2013 at about 11 pm in the city of Kizlyar, Dagestan, Abalova Abdullah, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir party, was killed. He was fatally shot not far from his house. Abalova received several explosive wounds as confirmed by the examination.
As a result of this brutal murder of one of our Hizb activists, we would want to highlight some important points:
1. Abalova Abdullah was an active member of Hizb ut Tahrir. He was sincere in dawah on the path of his Lord and was active in many community affairs aimed at the dissemination and protection of Islam, whether the activities of Eid ul-Adha and Eid ul-Fitr holidays or public protests organized against the authorities' regime, abductions and killings of Muslims in Dagestan. He also often met with many imams and community leaders to explain to them the true state of affairs of the Islamic Ummah. Being a member of the Islamic political party Hizb ut Tahrir and having much knowledge in many Islamic sciences he always made it clear to people that Islam was a system for life and called to work hard for the restoration of the Khilafah, because only in this system, it could be realized.
2. Muslims living in Russia have begun to awaken, returned to their roots, began to study their religion more deeply and also to study the history of the great Islamic Ummah. All this certainly leads Muslims to an understanding of the need to follow Islamic rules as well as to recognize them as part of a single Islamic Ummah. It should be noted that this awakening of Muslims is occurring worldwide and this makes the enemies of Allah and Muslims hinder the development of the Islamic Ummah. In Dagestan lately there had been public protests against the harassment of Muslims not only in Caucasus but also in Russia and also against the murders of Muslims in ash-Sham. All of this demonstrates the awakening of the Ummah and its returning to political activity.
3. Lately we have seen that Russia actively fights and assists the tyrant Assad's regime in every possible way; and despite obvious differences with the United States, Russia remains the main ally in the preservation of the secular regime in Syria. This Russian foreign policy activity is not associated in order to compete with the U.S. in geopolitics, and is directly related to the fear of the prospect of the establishing of an Islamic State in ash-Sham. Since Russia itself has more than 20 million Muslims, the authorities are afraid of their political activity, especially in the context of global changes in the Islamic world.
All these facts as well as many explosive bullet wounds to the noble body of our beloved brother prove that he was intentionally killed! His authority among the Muslims because of a deep knowledge and noble disposition, his practicing of sincere dawah to Islam and also his unwavering stance in protecting the interests of the Islamic Ummah became the cause for him being cowardly shot. In this regard, to all thugs who were involved in the murder of our brother Abalova we want to say the following:
Firstly: You will never stop Islamic dawah carriers even though you may gather all your helpers from the people and jinn! All your attempts to stop the dawah of Hizb ut Tahrir are doomed to failure, do you still do not realize this! If you want to scare other sincere Muslims among the members of Hizb ut Tahrir by this cowardly murder, you should know that we fear Allah only and death on His path is dearer to us than life for you with all its pleasures.
Secondly: Today you kill Muslims and violate their rights. So beware that the day when you will have to answer in full for all your evil deeds is closer than you think! At first you will see the sword of Khaleefah and then you will go to where unending torments in a fiery abode that awaits you.
Thirdly: A dog will never be compared to a lion, for when the lion dies, he leaves behind the glory, heroism and courage ... and a dog leaves cowardice and dishonor! Our brother Abalova Abdullah was a lion! We ask Allah that you meet a Khaleefah soon in which you will answer in full for the death of our brother as well as for all the crimes against all Muslims living in Russia.

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
