Assassination of the Commander of the Egyptian Army's Ninth Division

News:
The assassination of Brigadier General Adel Ragaei,  in the morning of Saturday 22 October 2016 sparked widespread debate around the practical implications, its causes, the significance of the timing and the nature of the response. The debate intensified in the absence of any comments or condolences from the military spokesman of the armed forces, whilst similarly the Interior Ministry also also did not issue any statements about the assassination.

Comment:
The master of the Egyptian regime Tom Malinowski, US Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, described Egypt's strategy in fighting against terrorism as being in the worst state ever. The assassination of the Brigadier constitutes one in a series of assassinations within the ranks of state officials, including the assassination of Egyptian Prosecutor-General, Hisham Barakat, during the month of Ramadan of last year. Many police and soldiers have been killed, both in their barracks and on the streets, since Sisi took the reigns of power, after a coup against Mohamed Morsi, and the assassinations have not come to a stop. Moreover, it does not seem that this wave of assassinations in the country will stop, rather it is likely to escalate, with increasing pressure on the regime, internally and externally.

Whether militants in Sinai are behind the assassinations, including the most recent ones, to take the fight to Cairo as a consequence of the increase in violence and attacks against them and the civilians there, by the army and the Egyptian intelligence services, or the assassinations are a consequence of an internal dispute or conflict, as the assassinated was one of those responsible for securing the capital ahead of the demonstration scheduled for the coming November 11, the reality in Egypt has come to an extent that the people of Egypt can no longer bear. The crises of inflation, the shortages of staple food, such as sugar and rice, the immense inflation in the exchange rate of the Egyptian pound, the regime's shameful regional political stances, including the Syrian and Palestinian portfolios, the abandoning by the Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, of support for the regime's bankruptcy, all of these crises have led to significant unrest both on the Egyptian street and amongst the sincere and honorable from the people of chivalry and fervor. Accordingly the regime is unable to handle all these crises because taken together they are greater than it. Neither the regime nor its master, America, have solutions to lift the country out of the crises. And Tom Malinowski's comment on the regime's failure to resolve the security problems in the country, is only to disavow the actions of their drowning agent and put the blame squarely on the regime.

“[The hypocrites are] like the example of Satan when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allah , Lord of the worlds.” [Surah al-Hashr 59:16]

It is mandatory upon the people of Egypt, “the Quiver”, who are truly fervent about their Deen and their country, to revive their revolution for regime change, including all its pillars and statesmen. And it is mandatory upon the people of power and strength, from the people of chivalry and the fervour amongst the Believers in the Egyptian armed forces, to grant Nussrah (Material Support) to Hizb Ut Tahrir for the establishment of the Khilafah on the Method of Prophethood. This alone will rescue the country from its crises and make it truly a leader for the world, when it becomes the support point for a superpower, which confirms the truth and nullifies falsehood, even though America, the Jews and those who assist them, dislike it. Are there in the Egyptian army the likes of Saad bin Muaadh, to uproot this agent regime and give Bay'ah (Pledge of Allegiance) to the Amir of Hizb Ut Tahrir the dignified Aalim, Ata ibn Khalil Abu Ar- Rashta, pledging allegiance upon the Ruling by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet (saaw), so that he grants deliverance to the lands, brings joy for the servants of Allah (swt) and pleases the Lord (swt) of all Lords. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ  "O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered." '[Surah at-Tawba 8:24]

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
