Electing a Representative: An Islamic Perspective

Due to the absence of the Islamic way of life, all Muslims today – regardless of where they live in the world– reside in societies that apply laws other than what Allah (swt) has revealed. Consequently, Muslims may at times, find themselves performing actions without knowing the Islamic ruling (hukm) regarding such acts.
