The Saudi ambassador to the United States, Adel al-Jubair, announced on Thursday morning, 26/03/2015, the beginning of a military offensive against the Houthis comprising of air-strikes launched by a ten-state coalition, including all the Gulf states, except Oman. He mentioned that Saudi Arabia had consulted with the United States before taking this step. The Egyptian Foreign Minister announced the participation of Egypt and that four Egyptian naval warships were on their way to the Gulf of Aden. For his part, the Sudanese army spokesperson said,  "Sudan will participate based on our Islamic responsibility. We will not remain idle while the Muslim's Qibla and the land of Revelation is facing danger." Several Gulf States, led by Saudi Arabia declared war on the Houthis in Yemen and their allies in the military operation dubbed "al-Hazm Storm", Operation Decisive Storm. A translation from the archives. 5th Muharram 1389 23/3/1969 The basis of Islaam is the Yaqeen Al-Qat’iy (decisive certainty) in the existence of Allah, the definite certainty in that the Qur’aan is the Kalaam (speech) of Allah and the Yaqeen Al-Qat’iy that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. This Yaqeen Al-Qat’iy in these three together represents the basis of Islaam and from them all of the Aqaa’id (beliefs) of Islaam and its Ahkaam (rulings) branch out. The Yaqeen (certainty) in the existence of the Sillah (connection) of the person with Allah with the meaning that there are spiritual things in accordance to this meaning branches from the Yaqeen in the existence of Allah. If there is Yaqeen in the existence of Allah then there must also exist a realisation of the Sillah (connection/relationship) of the human with Allah.
