O Muslims: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم has Approved the Type of the Flag and the Banner in Islam; Follow Him and you will Succeed

لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ "You have an excellent model in the Messenger of Allah, for all who put their hope in Allah and the Last Day and remember Allah much." (Al-Ahzab: 21) The Islamic State has a flag (Alam); whether it is a Liwaa' or Rayah, as deduced from the flags (Alwiyah) and banners (Rayat) of the first Islamic State, which the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم in al-Medina al-Munawwarah. The flag (Liwaa) is white, on which it is written "La Ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah" with black script. It is tied to the leader (Amir) of the army and is used as a sign ('alam) to him. The evidence for this is what was narrated by Ibn Majah: «أن النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دخل مكة يوم الفتح ولواؤه أبيض» "That the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم entered Makkah on the day of its conquest while raising a white flag." Q&A: The Postponement of Elections in Nigeria

Question: On 8/2/2015 CE, the Nigerian Electoral Commission announced the postponement of the presidential and legislative elections which were scheduled to take place on 14th February 2015; they have been postponed to 28th March 2015 under the pretext of internal security concerns... Is this the case? Or is this delay is for international reasons? And if so, which countries are influencing this delay? And what is expected for this election? I have noticed that the Hizb publications are almost devoid of talk about Nigeria's issues although it is the largest Muslim country in terms of population in Africa, and overlooks the ocean, and an oil producing country, so why is there no attention paid to it? And excuse me if my right is to ask a question and not to comment... Jazak Allah Khair. Answer: First, I will start with your comment and say: You asked to be excused about something which is your right, and this shows that you have good manners, May Allah bestow upon you m...

Execution of American Action Plan from Nawaz-Raheel government : Saad Jagranvi

As part of implementing the  ‪#‎ NationalActionPlan‬ , which is an attempt to suppress the ‪#‎ Jihad‬  against the  ‪#‎ American‬  occupation of  ‪#‎ Afghanistan‬ , as wel l as preventing the return of the  ‪#‎ Khilafah‬  to  ‪#‎ Pakistan‬ , on 11 February 2015, the regime issued an arrest charge sheet for the men of the honorable Jegranvi household, as well as their wives. Then on Friday 13 February, before the Salah of Jummah, the thugs of the regime earned the curses of the oppressed, whose Dua Allah never refuses, by seizing a woman relative of the Jegranvis from the sanctity of her home, even as the menfolk and their wives were applying for bail before arrest. This mother is now in the dungeons of the tyrants, along with her mentally and physically handicapped young son. Hizb ut Tahrir notes that this extreme step took place immediately after the announcement of the Interior Minister's visit to America, to earn the praise and grat...

Part1- Why do Western states seem to treat minorities so badly? by Dr. Abdul Wahid

As the dust settles after the killings in Paris there has been a plethora of comment about the limits of ‘free speech’. Some argue it is absolute. Others recognise there are and always have been limits – laws about racism, anti-Semitism and libel included. Others still observe how those limits are increasingly selectively applied – even within the editorial decisions of ‘Charlie Hebdo’. Muslims understand the European principle of free speech better than we are given credit for. We understand that Europe settled its uncomfortable relationship with the Catholic Church with greater free of inquiry, criticism and accounting of powerful institutions. We also understand that it has morphed into an industry where the freedom to mock, insult and expose celebrity sells newspapers and magazines. But we also understand that within the imposed legal restrictions there are all kinds of reasons why people limit what they say, write and draw. So, when we see a systematic campaign focussed in...

Q&A - Hukm regarding obeying & disobeying the Ameer of Safar (Travel)

Question:  The prophet (saw) said in a hadith reported by Bukhari & Muslim -  " Whosoever obeys me, obeys Allah; and he who disobeys me, disobeys Allah; and whosoever obeys the Amir (leader), in fact, obeys me; and he who disobeys the Amir, in fact, disobeys me." Which Ameer does this refer to and does this obedience apply to the Ameer of Travel or the Ameer of the house or does it apply to the Khalifah alone. If someone disobeys an Ameer of Safar does he by this act disobey Allah and his prophet (saw)?  Answer:   Firstly, There are two types of Imarah’s. The Imarah Kubra (the Greater Imarah ) which is the Khalifah and the Imarah Sugraa or the Imarah Khassah (The lesser Imarah or the private Ameer) which is the Ameers other than the Khalifah i.e the Ameer Khaas such as the Ameer of travel or the Ameer of an army and so on. The obedience to both the Imarah Kubra and the Imarah khassah is not unconditional rather it has shari limits. The fi...

ISIS Defeated in Kobani

By Adnan Khan In a video released by the pro-ISIS Aamaq News Agency on Friday 30 January 2015, ISIS acknowledged that its fighters have been defeated in the Syrian northern town of Kobani.[1] The battle for Kobani which began in late 2014, received much global media attention as over 200,000 Kurds from the town crossed the border into Turkey leading to the call for all Kurds to come to the rescue. Comparisons were made with the Nazi defeat in Stalingrad , which was the beginning of the end of the Third Reich. Since the ISIS declaration of the Caliphate back in June 2014, ISIS expanded its control and entered into many battles with rebel groups, al-Assad’s’ forces and the US air force. Analysing the loss of Kobani reveals ISIS is now on the defensive, but not defeated. It was in September 2014 that ISIS fighters captured some 300 Kurdish villages near Kobani and thrust into the town itself. Tens of thousands of refugees spilled across th...

Explanation of At-Takattul al-Hizbi (Party Structuring) - Part 21

Sharh At-Takattul Al-Hizbi  (Explanation of  Party Structuring ).  This is a translation from the explanation of the unique book by Sheikh Taqiuddin an-Nabhani.  TO ACCESS PART 20 CLICK  HERE The way that the Hizb develops and establishes itself: These are the three situations that will confront the Kutlah when it proceeds in the battlefield of life. If it remains firm in the face of these factors then it would have passed through the first line of defence of the thoughts of disbelief and attained the following achievements or results:  1) The crystallization of its thought: The clashing that takes place with other thoughts, discussing them and making clear their corruption inevitably leads to the embodiment of this thought and its crystallization. This means its movement from a fluid state to a state where it is solidified and embodied i.e. from empty thoughts of imagination to a vision of the reality and its application ...
