We Say to the British Daily Mail and its likes... Enough with your Manipulation. Hizb ut Tahrir's Method is Known to All!

The UK-based Daily Mail claimed online, on 24th February that,  "The Indian Mujahideen is helping al-Qaeda to run a separate module in India, as part of the home-grown terror outfit's efforts to go global by establishing strong links with radical groups like the Taliban and Hizb ut Tahrir". The Daily Mail article began with the text quoted above and went on to offer some tenuous discussion points relating to supposed links between 'Indian Muhahideen' and two other groups mentioned: al-Qaeda and Taliban, but strangely, the article did not attempt to offer any semblance of evidence for a link with Hizb ut Tahrir, and did not even mention Hizb ut Tahrir further. It seems that Hizb ut Tahrir's name was used in the beginning of the article as a spice to be sprinkled on top of a sloppy story as a desperate attempt to increase the Daily Mail's own global ambitions of appealing to a wider readership. While we bear no grudge against the Daily Mail'...

Drugs and Parties are Destroyers of a Nation and a result of Individual Freedom Enshrined in Capitalism

The sadness of the loss of MH370 which has caught the attention of the world has not settled down and yet, we are shocked again with the  death of six teenagers  in a concert held at Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur. The Future Music Festival Asia 2014 (FMFA) concert which entered its third day was canceled due to the death of several teenagers who allegedly overdosed drugs while three other teenagers were reported in comas and critical. Most likely this concert would have been continued if no deaths were reported. In this case, the mistake was merely pointed to the youths who took drugs and the syndicate supplying drugs to the teenagers involved. However, fault was not placed on the shoulders of the organizers nor the provider of the permit to the organizers! This concert gained full support from the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Dato 'Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz. In the West, concerts like this are known for drugs, which would involve the loss of life, damage to...

Q&A: Russia's Annexation of Crimea

Question: Russia has annexed the Crimea, and Putin signed a document regarding this on 18/3/2014. Does this mean that what happened is a preliminary step by Russia to annex the rest of Ukraine, and especially after it was met with a feeble reaction the West? Jazaak Allah Khair. Answer: As we have mentioned before in our answers that the current regional and international conditions do not allow any of the three parties, Ukraine's stakeholders, to control Ukraine completely, but the solution expected between the three parties is a compromise ... therefore Russia overtaking the whole of Ukraine is unlikely at the moment, or at least in the foreseeable future. If Russia was able to settle in Crimea, it means that the West, especially America, will settle in the rest of Ukraine. As for overtaking the whole of Ukraine by any of the three parties, as we have said, it is unlikely at this time, or at least in the near future. What seems to be currently taking place is an...

Muslims Criminalised for Caring for Muslims in Syria

It is three years since the peaceful yet powerful call against the regime of Bashar al-Assad was met with a violent and merciless response from the regime. Now, the British government has started criminalising those who oppose Bashar’s regime. Has something changed? Are they now declaring openly that they are on Bashar’s side? In fact the stance of global powers like Britain has remained unchanged. From the outset they have done little to hasten Bashar’s departure, rather prolong it. Politicians like Hillary Clinton and William Hague were measured in their criticisms; even saying that he was a reformer. As his horrific crimes escalated, they simply suggested he should step aside. The missions of Lakhdar Brahimi and Kofi Annan only stalled for time, paying lip service against the Bashar’s use of chemical weapons. The truth is that they fear losing control of a region that has been under their influence since the settlement of the Sykes-Picot agreement in World War One – a reg...

Temporary Appreciation of Rupee Exposes Weakness in Dollar Loan Based Economy

Economic progress is not possible unless our currency is based on Gold or Silver The recent Rupee temporary appreciation confirmed that by pegging Rupee to Dollar, Pakistan's economy is at the mercy of global Dollar based loans. By altering the dollar supply in the country through loans, speculator hoarding and other means, Pakistan's currency rises and falls, which affect the prices of everything in the lives of the people of Pakistan. On 12th March 2014, the Finance Minister, Mr. Ishaq Dar admitted that one of the major reasons in the recent gains in the value of Rupee is yet another Dollar based loan, of 1.5 billion Dollars. Such Dollar loans come with the huge cost and sin of Riba (usury), which constantly cripple Pakistan. Yet, the visionless Raheel-Nawaz government is praising itself for the temporary appreciation in the Rupee against the Dollar, which was inevitable when the Dollar supply is increased, by flooding it into the market. By linking Rupee to Dollar, ...

Justice for Women cannot come from Minds Shaped by Capitalism

The extent which violence against women has reached in Turkey has driven even NGO's to make proposals which express their despair. Ultimately nobody in Turkey believes anymore that the policies regarding women, who are in need of protection, practised by the state so far, are sufficient. Moreover, everybody complains that none of the state's units fulfils its duties regarding the protection of women adequately As a result of this, at the end of February 2014, the "Survival Guide 2014" prepared by Şefkat-Der, who provides shelter for women under violence, suggested to women who face violence and who are under risk:  "[...] in order to defend yourself, wound your partner. [... ] neutralize the potential killer before he kills you."  Furthermore, the woman who faces violence and can not escape was suggested - after consulting an attorney - to commit a little crime that does not harm others, but leads to a short-time imprisonment, which is to be safer tha...
