Concluding Statement of the International Media Conference: "GAZA and All of Palestine Seeks Victory from Muslim Armies"

Conference held in Beirut, Lebanon by Hizb ut Tahrir on 19 Shawwal 1435 AH, corresponding to 15/08/2014 CE. Hizb ut Tahrir held its Media conference under the title "Gaza ... Rather All of Palestine Seeks Victory from Muslim Armies". The speeches by the media representatives of Hizb ut Tahrir from Egypt, Jordan and Turkey confirmed that the duty towards Palestine is the mobilization of armies to liberate Gaza, rather all of Palestine, and then they directed an appeal to the families and relatives of the officers and soldiers in order to urge them to bring victory to Gaza and to liberate Masjid Al-Aqsa and to carry out their military duty towards their Ummah, and not to obey the disgraceful orders of the rulers. There was a broadcast of a recorded speech from Gaza prepared and presented by the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Palestine. They revealed the magnitude of the devastation and what afflicted the Muslims there from the brutal killing and systematic destr...

Q&A: American Airstrikes on Iraq

Question: In recent days, there has been news coverage that American aircraft has conducted air strikes on some sites regulated by the “State” group ( tanzeem ad-Dawlah ) in Northern Iraq. Obama and some American officials have claimed that this has been done for humanitarian reasons and for fear of genocide and words to that effect. Indeed worse massacres have taken place in Syria, yet America has not interfered. Even in Iraq massacres occurred in Anbar and Fallujah and America did not interfere. This suggests that humanitarian reasons are not the compelling reason for the American air strikes in the north of Iraq. This is what can be concluded from following the events. Therefore the question is: If this understanding is true, and that this is not the true reason for the raids, then what is the real reason that you see according to your political analysis of the current events? May Allah reward you. Answer: 1. It is true what you said that the humanitarian reasons are not...

ISIS and Lebanon’s “War on Terror”

International media reports have claimed that the Islamic State of  Iraq  and al-Sham (ISIS) has entered the Lebanese town of Arsal. Reporting from Beirut,  Ali Harfouch  explains how the Lebanese army’s recent offensive is a wider war against “Sunni radicals” who support the Syrian rebels. The Lebanese Army has cemented itself as a key player in the regional and international “war on terror” – more specifically – against “radical elements” that have dominated the Syrian revolution. On August 2 nd  the Lebanese Army arrested rebel commander Ahmad Abu al-Jumma in the border town of Arsal in Bekaa valley, which has witnessed a massive influx of Syrian refugees and remains a battle-zone between rebels and Syrian regime. Arsal is also a key strategic town, the control of which means the control of the Lebanese-Syrian border. Following the arrest, heavy-clashes ensued between armed rebel groups and the Lebanese army, leaving dozens of civilians, rebel fighte...

Where is the Mercy and Justice of Islam in the ISIS Organization’s Actions?

With the current evacuation of Christian populations from Iraqi towns and cities and further unverified reports of Yazidis hiding out in mountains around the town of Sinjar, we direct your attention to a press release from Hizb ut Tahrir Iraq issued recently regarding the growing escalating tensions with minorities in the Iraq. The news – despite being bitter – did not surprise us where Christians evacuated their homes and residences in Mosul, on their way to the Nineveh Plain and the Kurdistan region, so as to escape with their lives, before the expiry of the deadline set by the ISIS Organization (Saturday 19th July 2014 at noon). The deadline came in the so called Destiny Document that was communicated during the Friday sermons in the city’s mosques, where Christians were given an ultimatum to convert to Islam, pay Jizya, or leave the city, with not more than the clothes they are wearing and not to carry with them anything of their money or possessions. If they did not, there ...

A message from a female slave of Allah in Gaza to the glorious Ummah

I begin by praising my Lord in a manner that befits the Majesty and Greatness of His power, My Lord سبحانه وتعالى, I am a slave woman who is in need of you, I supplicate with the words of your Prophet, the best of creation. There is no Nasser (Helper) except You and I am not needy of anyone but You. "O Allah! Unto You do I complain of my weakness, of my helplessness and of my lowliness before men. O most Merciful of the merciful. O Lord of the weak and my Lord too. Into whose hands have you entrusted me? Unto some far off stranger who receives me with hostility? Or unto a foe whom you have empowered against me? I care not, so long as You are not angry with me. But Your favouring help, that were for me the broader way and the wider scope. I take refuge in the light of Your Countenance whereby all darkness is illuminated and all things of this world and the next are rightly ordered, lest You make descend Your anger upon me or lest Your wrath beset me. Yet it is Yours to...

Q&A on Gaza

This quick Q&A has been written in response to the outrageous lies of the Zionists and the abject failure of most of the so-called free press, especially since so few available introductory resources are worth reading[1]. The questions are typical of what Zionists say and are based on a series of discussions and debates in the last few weeks. Q. Israel didn't want this war but has been forced to go into Gaza to confront terrorists who want to destroy Israel[2] This makes it sound like Israel is the victim rather than the aggressor, occupier, invader (initiator of violence, breaker of peace deals, violator of ceasefire agreements, ignorer of UN resolutions[3] etc.) and that the Palestinians are somehow picking on Israel. This often comes from not accepting two points: Israel occupies Palestine Resistance to occupation, aggression and invasion is always legitimate The Israeli occupation of Palestine is the longest military occupation in modern history – 66 ye...
