Published on  10 Jan 2014 With things constantly moving and changing on the ground in Syria it is becoming increasingly difficult to follow the situation and the powers at play. Ustadh Abu Anas sheds light on this situation after having returned from his second trip to Syria. 

[Translated] Question To our dear noble Scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu The Prophet (saw) said: «مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَمْ يَغْزُ، وَلَمْ يُحَدِّثْ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ، مَاتَ عَلَى شُعْبَةٍ مِنْ نِفَاقٍ» "The one who died but did not participate in a Ghazwa nor did he express any desire to himself about it died upon a branch of hypocrisy."  So how does expressing desire to oneself about participating in a Ghazwa occur?
