When we say Nahdah (revival) we intend only by this statement the intellectual elevation. In order to distinguish between thoughts it is necessary to define the description of the elevated thought so that it can become known. As such we say that the elevated thought is the thought that is distinguished by two attributes: Al-‘Umq (depth) and Ash-Shumool (comprehensiveness).
