Q&A: Is the Land of Tamim Ad-Darri (ra) classified as ushri or kharaj land?

We know that Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم had allocated land for the noble companion Tamim Ad-Darri (ra) in Al-Khaleel which is now known as Al-Maskoubiyah. We are confused regarding the classification of this land; is it a 'Ushri land or a Kharaj land, bearing in mind that in the book Funds in the Islamic State, in the classification of 'Ushri land it did not include the land that is allocated to someone becomes 'Ushri land but that the 'Ushri or Kharaj lands can be allocated. Some Shabab (members) have the view that the land of Tamim Ad-Darri (ra) is 'Ushri land, does this view have any basis which is not mentioned in the Funds book? May Allah Reward you with all the good on our and the Muslims' behalf and bring joy to your eyes and the Muslims with the victory and authority under the shade of the Khilafah upon the method of the Prophethood soon inshaAllah. Q&A: Major and Minor Sins | Sheikh 'Ata Abu Al-Rashtah

Question: Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu Our honourable Sheikh, I have a question regarding a phrase that was mentioned in the Book Islamic Personality (Shakhsiya), Volume One page 46 (Arabic version):  "Allah سبحانه وتعالى will enter those He wills from the Muslims into hellfire whose majors and sins outweigh their minors and rewards".  What is meant by their minors? Why was it mentioned next to the rewards if it means minor sins? For the knowledge I am not a member of the Hizb due to the absence of party work in our area. From Abu Abdullah Khalaf Answer: Wa Alaikumu Salaam Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu The minors are the sins that have a lighter punishment, and the majors are sins that have severe punishments...for example: lying is prohibited... but if you tell your son: come, I will give something in my hand, when he comes and finds nothing in your hand to give, you would have lied, and it is a sin but with lighter implications; it is fr

The Akhlaaq are Ahkaam Shar’iyah and not just moral attributes and characteristic alone

A translation from the archives: Allah (swt) said: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَ عِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ Verily, Allah enjoins Al-Adl and Al-Ihsaan (perfection in good conduct) and giving (help) to relatives and He forbids Al-Fahshaa' (open evil deeds like Zinaa) and Al-Munkar (evil that Islaam has forbidden), and Al-Baghy (i.e. All kinds of oppression), He admonishes you do that you may take heed (An-Nahl 90). And it has been verified as Saheeh that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘Verily Allah loves the high Akhlaaq and hates the low/inferior(characteristics)’. And he (saw) said: ‘Verily I have been sent to (only) perfect the noble (virtues of) Akhlaaq’. These texts guide to the Akhlaaq being from the Ahkaam (legal rulings) of Islaam. The Aayah guides to specific Ahkaam of Akhlaaq (morals) and these are that Allah has commanded justice, per

The obligation of making all actions of the Muslim proceed in accordance to the Ahkaam Ash-Shar’i in the Tareeqah (method) and the Usloob (style)

A translation of a Q&A from the archives: Question and answer: 1) Allah has demanded that the Muslim proceed in all of his actions in accordance to the Ahkaam Ash-Shar’i without any exception for any action. Built upon that, all of the actions of the Muslim are obligatory to proceed in accordance to the Ahkaam Ash-Shar’i without there being any difference between that which is from the Tareeqah and that which is from the Asaaleeb (styles). This is because the speech of Allah (swt): وَمَا آَتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا And whatever the Messenger has brought to you take it and whatever he has forbidden you from abstain from it (Al-Hashr 7). Is general and encompasses every action and because the statement of the Messenger of Allah (saw): ‘Every action that is not upon our Amr (affair/matter) is rejected’ is general and encompasses every action. However from the actions of the human include those in which: ‘The Hukm has come ‘A

Al-Bid’ah Explained

The following is the translation of a Question and Answer from the archives: Al-Bid’ah is every action that the Shar’a did not bring i.e. it is every action that is in opposition to the Shar’a. It falls under the statement of the Messenger of Allah (saw): “Every (an y) matter which our matter is not upon is rejected” and therefore everything that is contrary to the Shar’a is Bid’ah. However there are actions for which the Shar’a came with a general Daleel (evidence) and therefore what falls under it is not called a Bid’ah. This is like studying Chemistry which is included under the evidences of knowledge, or it is like travelling for pleasure, making the Mahr (dawry) ten chickens, making a Minaret for the Masjid, the man uncovering his head in public, and lighting the Masjid by electricity or chandeliers. All of this is not called Bid’ah and even if the Shar’a did not bring these matters or if they did not exist at the time of the Messenger of Allah (saw). This is becau

The Hukm (ruling) by what Allah revealed

The following is a translation from an Arabic leaflet. And judge between them by that which Allah h as revealed and do not follow their desires and beware that they seduce you from some of what Allah has revealed to you (Al-Maa’idah 49). Allah sent His Messenger Muhammad with the message of Islaam to the entire world, to guide mankind and to bring into being a global society upon a unique and distinguished form that differs from all other forms and types of human societies existing in the world as a whole. It made its Aqeedah a spiritual and political Aqeedah; assuming the responsibility of that which emanates from it and what is built upon it in terms of thoughts and Ahkaam related to the caretaking of the affairs of the Dunyaa and the Akhirah. It made its viewpoint in life different to all other viewpoints exist
