3rd March 1924 - A Historic Day

Today, over 88 years ago, the then British Foreign Minister Lord Curzon warned,  “We must put an end to anything which brings about any Islamic unity between the sons of the Muslims. The situation now is that Turkey is dead and will never rise again, because we have destroyed its moral strength, the Caliphate and Islam”. In 2011,we have seen mass protests across the Middle East and North Africa in a unbeleivable show of resilience against tyranny and denial of the rights of the people. Yes, this is the first step to breaking the shackles of humiliation that people have been living through. Indeed this is the first step in a series of steps fr Muslims to wake up and realise that Islam, their Deen is awaiting its declaration for Implementation. The idea of Caliphate, Khilafat, Hilafet, Khilafah is resounding throughout the Muslim world with millions demanding back its restoration. The Khilafah in Islam is the central vehicle through which the Shariah is implemented. It i

"The Muslim Brotherhood" remains silent in parliament while the regime attacks it

"The Muslim Brotherhood" remains silent in parliament while the regime attacks it. The "Freedom and Justice" Party threatens to merely 'review' the Camp David Agreement if America stops its aid! Indeed, this is very strange! The Administrative Judiciary Court is considering legal action that calls for the disbanding of the Muslim Brotherhood: freezing of all their activity, bank accounts and funds; closing all of their premises; removing banners labelled "Headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood; and prohibiting the use of its name in all visual and audio media. Zakat did not come in this verse for it is revealed in Makkah, while the Zakat was enacted in the Madinah; and that is why it mentioned the Pomegranate which there is no zakat of one tenth on it... " The book of Funds mentioned in p. 161, first line after the title: "Zakat on crops and fruits is obliged by the Qur'an and Sunnah; as for the Qur'an it is by His (swt) saying: "And give its due right on its day of harvest", Al-An'aam, verse 141. The question is how we use the verse as evidence for the obligation of the Zakat, though we say that the verse does not include Zakat, as it came in the Draft Constitution. In other words, how we

Political Concepts: The Middle East Issue

The following is an extract of the english translation of an excellent book entitled ' Political Concepts ' by Hizb ut-Tahrir which was published in the Arab world in 2005 prior to the Arab spring.  The Middle East (ME) Issue It is an issue related to Islam and its danger; the strategic location and its control over the communications between Europe, Africa and Asia; the Jewish entity and its being the first line for defending the Western interests; colonialism and its material benefits particularly the oil. Thus, such an issue that is related to Islam, the strategic location, the Jewish state, colonialism and oil, is indeed a very important one, not only for the people of the region and Muslims, but rather for the entire world. As in regards with Islam, it was and still forms the greatest danger to America and the West. Besides, the region of the Middle East is considered the natural departure point for the Islamic da’wa to the world. Therefore, it was not strange that A
