Morsi takes over from Mubarak only to rekindle the peace process to safeguard the Jewish state

Uproar and commotion has erupted in Egypt over revelations that President Morsi has sent a communiqué confirming Egypt's commitment to peaceful ties with the Jewish state. In the letter sent to Shimon Peres, President of the Jewish State, Morsi states: "I am looking forward to exerting our best efforts to get the Middle East Peace Process back to its right track in order to achieve security and stability for all peoples of the region, including that Israeli people."
Despite vociferous denials by Morsis's representatives, the letter appears to be genuine. The English newspaper The Guardian reported that Peres's office said the president's aides received the official communiqué on July 31st 2012 from the Egyptian ambassador to the Jewish state, both by registered mail and by fax from the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv. Furthermore, the paper stated that the fax number which appeared on the faxed letter was registered to the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv.
The appearance of the letter is not an extraordinary occurrence; rather it is a manifestation of Morsi's pledge to respect Egypt's international agreements, which includes the peace accords with Israel. The presence of the Egyptian embassy in the heartland of the Jewish state underscores Morsi's intention to have harmonious relations with the Jews.
The timing of the letter comes hot on the heels of visits to Cairo by Palestinian leaders— President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas's political chief Khaled Meshal. After his meeting with Morsi, Abbas told reporters: "the doors of the political process with Israel are shut." Notwithstanding the close ties between Morsi's brotherhood and Hamas, no new offers were made to Meshal to ease the miserable plight of Palestinians in Gaza. In fact Morsi reaffirmed that he would not pick sides between the divided Palestinian leadership. He said, "We have said before that we stand at equal distance from all Palestinian factions. We support and aid them and are always happy to help in reconciliation."
These statements clearly point towards the fact the Morsi under Tantawi's auspices has been tasked by America to reconcile difference between the Palestinian leadership and kick start the Middle East peace process, which is designed to safeguard the security of the Jewish state. So both Morsi and Tantawi are working together and picking up pieces left behind during Mubarak's ouster to unify the Palestinian factions and re-launch the peace process. Speaking on the collaboration between Morsi and Tantawi for common goals, US Defense Secretary Panetta said,"It's my view that President Morsi and Field Marshal Tantawi have a very good working relationship and are working together for the same ends." In return America is offering Tantawi and Morsi $1.3 billion in aid to commit high treason against the ummah and continue working with America and the Jewish state.
Do not Morsi and Tantawi heed the words of Allah that explicitly warn about taking allies that are sworn enemies of the Muslim ummah? Allah says:
"The Jews and the Christians will never be pleased with you until you follow their religion. Say, 'Allah's guidance is the true guidance.'" [Al-Baqara, 2:120]
"You who have iman! do not take the Jews and Christians as your friends; they are the friends of one another. Any of you who takes them as friends is one of them. Allah does not guide wrongdoing people." [Al-Maida, 5:51]
The Muslims of Egypt must stand firm against the plans of the disbelieving American state to provide security and peace to the Jewish state. They must reject every proposal taken by Morsi and Tantawi that either strengthens America's hegemony over them or places Egypt's resources in the defense of the Jewish state.
The Muslims of Egypt must ensure that the resources of the country are placed in the defense of Islam and the Muslim ummah only. And that every last morsel of these resources is used in the liberation of Palestine! This can only be achieved by the Muslims of Egypt uniting with their brothers in the armed forces to re-establish the Khilafah state and permanently lift the state of siege and fear perpetrated by the Jewish state against the Palestinian people.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ
"You who have iman! respond to Allah and to the Messenger when He calls you to what will bring you to life!" [Al-Anfaal, 8:24]

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
