Media Campaign to Humiliate the Muslims in their Religion

Once again the Muslims are exposed to a media campaign aimed at undermining their religion and humiliating them on the one hand, and spoiling their relationship with the people who live with them in the society from among the Non-Muslims on the other hand.
The media has raised the issue of Muslims participating with the Christians in celebrating their festivals. Before clarifying the Shari'ah ruling on this issue and refuting such media campaign, we clearly say:

Firstly: While Islam calls for justice and kindness in dealing with the general public and abiding by the Islamic values and morals under all circumstances, however it definitely prohibits the Muslims from celebrating the festivals which are related to the beliefs (doctrines) and religions of the Kuffar and there is no contradiction between the two matters.
Secondly: The Shari'ah rulings are not dependent on the whims and desires of the Kuffar – they are neither subject to their media pressures nor to the whims of those who are in charge of their institutions, interests or associations. What is forbidden by Muhammad (saw) is forbidden till the Day of Judgment and what is permitted by Muhammad (saw) is permitted till the Day of Judgment. And it is not permissible for anyone, whosoever he may be, to tamper with the Shari'ah rulings or twist the Shari'ah texts so as to satisfy any creature in this world or owing to fear from him.
O Muslims:
Non-Muslims from among the Christians celebrate these days for the reason that they regard it as the birthday of Jesus, the son of Mary (May peace be upon them). Although the general Muslims know that celebrating the festivals of the Kuffar is Haram and hence stay away from it, but what grieves the heart is the fact that some Muslims are observed taking part in such celebrations, imitating and applauding their traditions due to being unaware of the links between these festivals and customs and the deviant and distorted beliefs of Christians.
The Shari'ah has fixed for the Muslims their own days of festivals which are Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha, as narrated by Al Nisai on the authority of Anas (may Allah be please with him) who said: the Prophet (saw) arrived in Madinah and the people of Madinah had two days to play and celebrate therein, so he (saw) said: Allah has replaced them with days which are better than them (i.e. Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha) and by these two holidays, the festivals of Jahiliyah were nullified. These two holidays of Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha are connected with the Muslims' creed which is the belief and declaration that there is only one Allah. He (swt) is worthy of being worshipped and His orders are to be followed and complied with.
On the other hand, the festivities of Christians in general and Westerners in particular are the ones which emanate from their distorted and perverted doctrine regarding Jesus son of Mary (May peace be upon them) and the ancient pagan Roman traditions which became mingled with their already distorted belief about Jesus (May peace be upon him). A Muslim has no doubt that their belief has deviated from the right path and the followers of this belief are disobedient to Allah. Allah (swt) says:  (Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)", Allah the Almighty said: (Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Isa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." Moreover, the Christians on the occasion of their holiday decorate their houses, shops, schools and streets and hold public and private ceremonies in churches etc, as well as exchange gifts and sing religious songs to mark this occasion.
O Muslims:
The Shari'ah has decisively forbidden Muslims from imitating the Kuffar from among the Christians, Jews and others concerning their religious matters and ceremonies. Imam Bukhari narrated on the authority of Abu Said Al Khudri (ra) that the Prophet (saw) said: "You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a lizard, you would follow them." We said, "O Allah's Apostle! (Do you mean) the Jews and the Christians?" He said, "Whom else?" Thus the Prophet (saw) forbade following the Jews and Christians and censured those who followed them and their ways in life, imitated them in their customs, traditions, rituals and ceremonies. This is an unequivocal proof that it is Haram for Muslims to imitate them. The Shari'ah has confirmed this prohibition to the extent that it has described the one who imitates the Kuffar as one of them, as he (saw) said: "Whoever imitates a nation he is from amongst them" as narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawood.
Therefore, the Muslims are neither permitted to celebrate the festivals of the Kuffar such as the Christians etc, nor they are allowed to participate in these festivities under any circumstances, whether they are being held in public or in private, in Churches or schools or at any other place. This prohibition includes all types of rituals and manifestations related to such events/occasions by which the Muslim exhibits his celebration in the form of exchanging of gifts and greetings as well as decorations of houses and shops.
O Allah! Firmly establish your Deen in our hearts and on this earth and strengthen Islam and Muslims.
Have we not conveyed the message? O Allah! Be our witness.

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider ...

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the...

Authenticity of ahadith on tall buildings in Makkah?

Question Are these   ḥadith  sound? Are the references provided correct and accurate? When you see the belly of Makkah will be cleft open and through it will be dug out river-like passages (i.e. tunnels) (or water in the road to Makkah), and you see the buildings surpass its mountains, then take care (or beware, or a variant has: then know that the matter is at hand, or then understand that the time of trial (Judgment day) is near at hand). [Narrated by Al-Azraqi in the Book of reports about Makkah – Kitab Akhbaar Makkah, Hadiyth-1725; A specific Hadiyth (in fact several related-Hadiyths) which prophesizes about this Tower. Itha ra’aitun mecca bu’ijat katha’ima, wa ya-tasawa bunyanuha ru’usa jibaliha, faqad athalati as-Sa’atu. When you see Mecca, its mountain with holes (pierced through them), and its buildings reach its mountain tops, then as-Sa’ah (the Hour) has already cast its shadow. [Suyuti] So when you see in Makkah that channels have already been dug (or tunnels b...
