Amnesty International
called on the Jordanian authorities to facilitate humanitarian aid passage to
about 75 thousand people of Syria trapped on its north-eastern borders in Rukban
Camp, located on the Syrian-Jordanian border. The organization said in a report
on Thursday, 15/09/2016, that the conditions of those stranded in the camp is extremely
miserable due to food shortages and the spread of disease resulting in the
deaths of a number of them. The organization also released satellite images
showing makeshift graveyards which reveal the plight of the stranded refugees. This
is in addition to the successive raids by the crusader alliance warplanes on
the neighborhood on Wednesday, which claimed the lives of more than 40 martyrs
and wounded 57 people, mostly women and children, in addition to the
destruction of several residential buildings.
The plight of the
people of Syria continues to escalate for the past five and a half years, as the
revolution broke out on 18/3/2011, and the conspiracies against it still continue
in all ways and means. The martyrs still ascend, and the number of refugees keep
growing inside and outside Syria in camps, with all kinds of suffering, in every
sense of the word. The refugees to Jordan, were the most in number according to
the United Nations, more than 630 thousand registered refugees, while the authorities
say their number is about 1.3 million, since the majority of them are not
registered with the International Organization for they had entered Jordan
before the war.
According to Amnesty
International's report, published two days ago, there are 75
thousand people of Syria trapped behind the berm (sandy ridge in a barren area)
on the Jordanian border, after the decision to seal the Rukban and Hadalat Border
crossings, following the aftermath of a car bomb attack on a Jordanian military
post serving refugees in the Rukban Border region on June 21, which killed 7 people
and injured 13 others. Among these refugees are children, pregnant women and
patients who live in tragic situations under the threat of hunger, thirst and
epidemics. A number of them lost their lives due to preventable diseases, simply
because the Jordanian authorities did not allow them to enter Jordan, and denied
them access to aid, medical treatment and a meaningful humanitarian response.
The organization said that only one delivery of food aid had reached the
stranded refugees since early August.
It is worth mentioning
that the United States will host a Refugee Summit, which is an international
summit on refugees and migrants in which Jordan is the co-host along with the
United States and five other countries, on the 20th of this month in
New York, in which Amnesty International called on the participant world
leaders to “move beyond rhetoric and make concrete commitments to welcome
their fair share of refugees, relieving the pressure on countries which are
hosting large numbers of refugees”. The organization also called on Jordan
to grant immediate entry to refugees at the berm.
A summit here and a conference
there, are all conspiring against the insurmountable Syrian revolution. Here is
another summit while the Syrian wound is still heavily bleeding, and most of
the victims are unarmed women and children. So for how long, O Ummah of Islam will
you surrender your destinies to your enemies?! Until when you will keep seeking
refuge under the shadow of the Kuffar which is nothing but darkness and
destruction?
O
People of Jordan, honored and courageous:
This is the situation
of your people, the sons of Syria, stranded in the desert with no shelter, no
food, and no medicine. Is not the believer a brother of another believer, who he
protects against loss and defends him behind his back?
O
the Ummah of Islam:
Is it not time to stop
the bleeding in Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Pakistan,
Chechnya, Burma, and Central Africa and every place where the life, dignity and
honor of the Muslims is being violated?! The bleeding will not truly cease
except under a Khilafah Rashidah (Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, which
will spare the pure blood, liberate the land and protect the honors ... So work
with the workers to establish it in place to attain the goodness and glory of
this world and the Hereafter, Insha’Allah.

“Has
the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become
humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the
truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and
a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are
defiantly disobedient.” [Al-Hadid:
