Martyr Abdul Raheem – A Star in the Sky of Uzbekistan!

The martyr Tahsinov Abdul Raheem Abdul Faqqar Fitch was born in the year 1971 in the city of Andijan to a Muslim family that was known for its Taqwa (God-consciousness) and righteousness, his parents raised him on Islam and gave him a proper Islamic upbringing, so he was an example of a pious, sincere and faithful Muslim. When Abdul Raheem realized the miserable and wretched reality of the Muslims, his good upbringing pushed him to move towards working to change this bitter reality.

Abdul Raheem learned the concepts of Hizb ut Tahrir and studied its literature, so he joined the Hizb to work with it to change this corrupt reality, and over a short period of time, he – Rahimahullah – became one of the active members of the Hizb, who were always relentless and their resolve never weakened in the work to raise the word of Allah high, so he did not fear the blame of the blamers, nor the assault and the oppression of the oppressors, Abdul Raheem was for many years in charge of the Hizb in Uzbekistan, leading its work there.

When Abdul Raheem – Rahimahullah – moved from Andijan to Tashkent, the intelligence services of the criminal regime in Uzbekistan pursued his arrest, and that was in the year 2006. He was in prison for many years in which he set an example to be followed in his strength of Iman in Allah سبحانه وتعالى by the concept he carried and the aim for which he worked for to achieve. He was also an example to be followed in his patience, fortitude and steadfastness, as none of the methods of repression and brutal torture practiced by the executors of the Jewish criminal Karimov, the tyrant of Uzbekistan, none of them yielded his resolve nor defeated his patience and steadfastness, nor did it coerce him into forsaking Hizb ut Tahrir, and leaving its clear and pure ideas, and the aim that he worked with the Hizb to achieve which is the resumption of the Islamic way of life by establishing the Khilafah State, which lead the henchmen of Karimov to kill and get rid of him. On the night of the 18th of June, and in the darkness of night, the secret intelligence crawlers of the criminal regime handed in the body of our pure brother Abdul Raheem to his relatives. And as usual, to cover the effects of the apparent torture on the body of Abdul Raheem, the Uzbek intelligence forced his family to hasten in burying his pure body.

We ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to accept our brother Abdul Raheem to be among the Shuhada' who worked for the sake of restoring the Righteous Khilafah State, and to grant him the joy of neighboring the Prophets, Believers, Shuhada', and the Righteous, in a seat of Truth near the Omnipotent King.
And as we extend our condolences to the family of the Shaheed for parting him in this world, asking Allah سبحانه وتعالى to bestow them with patience, persistence and fortitude, and to reunite them in the Hereafter in a Jannah that is greater than the heavens and the earth where there is no exhaustion nor illness nor separation. We promise them that the blood of their son and the rest of the Shuhada' will not go in vain; because the Khilafah State that is coming soon insha Allah will take revenge from the Jewish criminal Karimov, and from all of his oppressor henchmen and helpers, this will be in this life, and indeed, the punishment of the Hereafter is far greater, only if they knew.

"Do not suppose that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead. No indeed! They are alive and well provided for in the very presence of their Lord, delighting in the favour Allah has bestowed on them, rejoicing over those they left behind who have not yet joined them, feeling no fear and knowing no sorrow, rejoicing in blessings and favour from Allah and that Allah does not let the wage of the believers go to waste."

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
