Statement of Saad Jagranvi, Head of Central Contact Committee Hizb ut Tahrir in Pakistan
My Abduction and Trial Only Strengthens My Resolve to Work for the Khilafah and Confirms the Weak Stance of the Traitorous Rulers

I, Saad Jagranvi, a 39 year old father of seven, was abducted from near my family home on Monday, 26 November 2012. Military intelligence assisted by police ambushed me, surrounding my car with their vehicles, blockading me from all directions. I was then transferred with instructions from traitors within the military that my whereabouts are to be hidden from all, to the extent that even the cameras of my cell were covered! It is as if Kayani, Zardari and their handful of traitors would hope to hide their crimes from Allah (swt), when even the smallest of them have been recorded for punishment by the Lord of the World (swt).

Neither my abduction, nor my interrogation, nor my impending trial is going to silence me. Nor will the oppression of the sincere politicians of Hizb ut Tahrir by the traitorous rulers all over the Muslim World stop the return of the Khilafah. As I declared during my interrogation by Kayani's thugs, I now declare again before Allah (swt) and the Believers that I am a member of Hizb ut Tahrir. Hizb ut Tahrir is a global Islamic political party whose aim is to re-establish the Khilafah according to the methodology of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), to unify all of the Muslims as a single state and live by Islam as a complete way of life. Despite that, today 29 November 2012, I find myself in a police station awaiting trial as if I were a criminal whereas the real criminals of our age, a handful of traitors, who have hijacked our armed forces and our entire country in order to enslave us before America and deny us the rule by Islam. And yet these traitors, Kayani, Zardari and company, would have us believe that any accusation against them, exposing their mountains of treason, is an accusation against our armed forces and our country!

Be assured O Muslims that no sacrifice, no matter how small, is wasted in the cause of establishing the Deen of Allah (swt) as a way of life through the Khilafah that He (swt) obligated. Be assured that Kayani and the other liars of our age realize the weakness of their stance and have thus descended to try to silence the truth that deafens them from all directions. Be assured that they and their American masters see that the end of their colonialist ruler is near, as the Ummah rises for Islam all over the world. And be assured on the day of victory inshaaAllah, I, Naveed Butt and all those who have been oppressed for raising the word of Truth, will be hoisted on shoulders to celebrate the return of the Khilafah and the traitors like Kayani and Zardari will be brought forth in chains for trial for their horrendous crimes.

وَيُحِقُّ اللَّهُ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
"And Allah will establish the truth by His words, even if the criminals dislike it."
[Surah Yunus 10:82]

The silence of the Ummah is their true weakness, regardless of how much they pray and fast! Supporting the call is now only possible through raising our voices then Allah willing our duas will be answered. The media of Pakistan has been strictly instructed to not publish anything about this blessed group and yet the word still gets out through sincere who fear Allah (SWT) alone!
It is time to join as one Ummah raising the flag of Laillha ill Allah, no matter what part of the world you are in and no matter how hard it may appear. Let the Prophet (SAW) be pleased with our efforts on the day of judgement where no lie can be uttered from our mouths.

Sister, may Allah reward you for your sabr and allow us to redouble our efforts to re-establish His deen.

Inshallah Saad is from from amongst the Ta'ifa az-zahira:

Bukhari narrated from Al-Mogheerah ibn Sho’ba that RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم said,
لاَ يَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرِينَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُمْ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ ظَاهِرُونَ
“There will always be a group amongst my Ummah that will be triumphant and Allah will cause them to triumph.”

Muslim related from Thawbaan that RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم said,
“There will always be a group amongst my Ummah who is triumphant upon truth, abandoning them will not harm them, until the order of Allah is given and they will be like that (triumphant)”

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
