﴿مِنَ
الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ
قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا﴾
“Among the believers are men true to what they
promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and
among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of
their commitment] by any alteration” [Al-Ahzaab: 23].

With great
sadness and sorrow, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Syria mourns the martyrdom of
another one of its members, who was martyred in Hayy Al-Firdaus after he prayed
Jumuah on 18/11/2016, as a result of the brutal shelling in the city of Aleppo,
which has been besieged by the tyrant of Sham and his aides.

Ibrahim Al-Khalaf was a young man in the prime of his life; carried the Da’wah
upon himself to resume the Islamic way of life by implementing the rightly
guided Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood. He was
steadfast with his brothers in Aleppo, giving his life in the path of achieving
the promise of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala of inheritance (of power) and
empowerment, but the will of Allah necessitated that he leaves this world
before his eyes could witness the rise of the Khilafah. May Allah (swt) have
mercy upon you, accept you, and raise you with the prophets, truthful, martyrs
and righteous, indeed how good is their company.
And we do not say except that which is pleasing to Allah: ﴿إِنَّا لِلَّـهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ
رَاجِعُونَ﴾ “Verily to Allah do we belong and
verily to Allah do we return” [Al-Baqarah: 156].
