The Crisis in Aleppo, Syria & Our Responsibility

“But if they ask you for help in respect of the deen, it is your duty to help them”  [TMQ Al-Anfal, 8:72]

Our brothers are killed under the black smoke rising from Aleppo!  Muslims are exterminated every day in cold blood and without distinction between a child and an elderly woman, by the Kaffir’s murderous attacks of America and the forces of the Western alliance; and criminal Russia and criminal Assad’s regime! While parents are struggling to remove children from the rubble to transfer them to hospitals in the hope of treating them, they are pursued by these murderers and criminals’ rockets and bombs. Hospitals and mosques were not spared, nor did the bakeries and ambulances from the brutal strikes! Even the people of Aleppo, the Muslims, were not able to perform Friday prayers in the abode of Islam (Ash-Sham) for safety! All this taking place in front of the eyes of the “Civilized World, the defender of human rights” and the same is happening in the Islamic countries neighboring Syria.

Thus, while the enemies of Islam and Muslims from the Kuffar and oppressors carry out the dictates of their hostility and oppression, some rulers of the Muslims stand shamelessly as spectators and watch what is taking place in exchange for crumbs thrown in front of them. Some of them let out empty rhetoric not followed by actions, some of them send strongly worded messages but changes them after 48 hours and retracts them. All these positions indicate the lack of responsibility, and that their leadership is not true leadership, they only serve to encourage the wrongdoers to kill more Muslims.

O Muslims! You are the ones who moved and supported the Syrian revolution from the beginning, and stood by your Muslim brothers in Syria, you have worked to fulfill their needs even by the little, in relief campaigns and collected donations for them, and you raised your hands to the sky in Du’a for them whenever they were subjected to genocide. And now your heart beats with Aleppo, we feel ashamed when we caress the heads of our children whenever we look at the children of Aleppo.

Whenever you hear about what happens to the women of Aleppo your faces turn red with anger. You want to do something to lift this injustice, but you remain confused and say, what can we do! But what you must do is known! As long as there is killing of our Muslim brothers by the Kaffir countries and their occupying armies, then the aggression of those countries must be confronted with a state that fights them and an Army that teaches them a lesson, and crushes the unjust, but we do not have a state that unites us on the truth. In the existence of the state, our brothers from Ash-Sham, Aleppo, Homs and Mosul raced to our rescue and helped in the Dardanelles War, but today, our military, which we call the Prophet Muhammad’s Army stands with its hands restrained and banned for the rescue of Muslims in Aleppo and their support against the oppressor Bashar al-Assad. So raise your voices and shout with your loudest voice “armies must move to Aleppo”, “armies must move to Damascus” raise your voice louder with these chants until everyone can hear you until your voice penetrates the walls and reaches the palaces and military camps.

O rulers! Do you not see the level of injustice reached by the Syrian regime, which you described as oppressive! And after you said, “We will not allow a second Hama”, how many more Hama did the regime commit! Do you not see that?!

The genocide is being committed every day in Aleppo, it turned Aleppo to devastation and destruction and pools of blood! Did the images of bodies recovered from under the rubble of mosques, hospitals and on the streets not reach you? And the cries of women and children did not touch your ears, and they are crying and saying, Oh Muslim rulers, O military leaders, where are you? Why don’t you come to our rescue? So why don’t you send the army to Aleppo and Damascus, and you who call yourselves the senior leaders of the army?! Or do you fear the Kuffar, America and Russia, and Bashar al-Assad? Allah is more deserving of being feared!

Your Lord says:

“Do you fear them? But Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are [truly] believers” [TMQ At-Tawba: 13]

O rulers! The source of the alleged courage of the Kaffir colonists, along with Bashar Al-Assad, is the fear that overwhelms you. And it is right to say that the reason for their strength is your fear, and your coalition with the colonists to achieve your worldly interests, which will perish, without you knowing that you are fooled with the colonists’ alliance, which will yield nothing but shame in this world and the punishment of Allah in the Hereafter. That is why we recommend that you take heed, even a little, in the fate of humiliation and failure that awaits the one who seeks pride from the colonial kaffir. So put your trust in Allah (swt) alone and on your Muslim people.

You saw what the people did the night of July 15th, they stood up to the Kemalists in defense of Islam and not for any system that does not rule by Islam… The people are ready all the time to sacrifice themselves in front of tanks, aircraft and all weapons for the victory of Islam and Muslims. So rely on the real truth, and do not turn your backs to Islam and Muslims!

The duty now is to go to Syria to help Muslims and to overthrow Bashar al-Assad not to help the United States, Russia, and open the way for them to seize Aleppo and implement the so-called political solution. The mobilization of armies to support Aleppo and the Ash-Sham is not difficult for the intelligent people and the army of honour that loves Allah and His Messenger. And moving the armies despite the presence of the Kuffar and oppressors is not impossible, as some think! Then you will find the support of all Muslims in the land and you will prove truly that you are the descendants of the Ottomans!

O sincere officers of the Muslim Armies! This army of Muslims has a glorious past. This army, which you lead facing countries, the sons of Syria, the Muslims joined and helped our ancestors. Now they are waiting for your help in Aleppo against the Kaffir Russians and the Americans and the oppressive Syrian regime, who shower them with a barrage of bombs and are working to kill them and destroy them. Note that you are considered the strongest army in the region.

You possess an army composed of Muslims, the followers of Muhammad Al-Fatih ready for Jihad and martyrdom for the sake of Allah (swt). When you launch towards Aleppo from your military barracks shouting Allah is great you will not find in front of you the hired shabiha of the regime nor the American mercenary soldiers from nor the drunken Russian soldiers, they will crumble before you.

You state day and night that you have cleansed all the traitors among you after July 15th, so what are you waiting for, a permission to support and rescue the people of Ash-Sham? Or is this noble verse is not enough to move you, when it contains the command of our Lord to move our military, called the Prophet’s Army:

“And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help” [TMQ Al-Anfal: 72]

And His (swt) saying:

“And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, “Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?”  [TMQ An-Nisa: 75]

O Muslims: The oppressed people killed in Aleppo, Mosul, and the Arakan are your brothers. And your hearts feel their pain, but as individuals your work is limited. The only solution to lift the injustice against them is to move the Muslim armies for their support. The Messenger  said:

“A Muslim is a brother of a Muslim, he does not oppress him nor forsake him”.

Therefore you must account the rulers, until they move the armies, to rush for the support of their Muslim brothers who are crying for support to be rescued from the oppressors. It is an even bigger duty on them, which is to work to establish the second righteous Khilafah that will protect Muslims and liberate their land.

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
