What Is Wrong With You, How Do You Judge?
The Democratic Wedding is a Celebration and Jubilation of Governance by Other than What Allah Revealed
(Translated)
On Sunday evening, 16/10/2016, the emir issued decree to dissolve the parliament (Ummah Council), followed by a call to carry out elections on Saturday, 26/11/2016. Subsequently the country will see election campaigns of candidates to be nominated for this Council, accompanied by mass media coverage of the so-called democratic wedding.
Allah (swt) says in the Qur’an:
“The decision is only for Allah. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders.” [Al-An’am: 57]
And He (swt) says:
﴿أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
“Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith]” [Al-Ma’ida: 50]
The word ‘democracy’ is a Western term given to the governance by the people for the people, by the legislation of the people, the sovereignty in it is for the people, people are the absolute master, and the source of authority; they legislate rules and systems - as sovereign - through the representatives they select, and they are the ones who implement these laws and systems through the rulers they appoint, in their capacity as the source of authority.
Democracy is based on a doctrine that contradicts the Islamic creed. Islam is based on the concept that the universe, man, and life have a Creator, He created them all, and that man will be accountable for his actions on the Day of Resurrection. If actions were according to what Allah has permitted, a person will rewarded, but if they contradict what Allah has permitted, s/he will be punished. But democracy is based on the separation of religion from life, and the separation of religion from the state, i.e. the separation of the Creator’s relationship with life.
In the democratic system, the human mind judges the actions and things as pretty (hasan) and ugly (qubh). In Islam it is totally the opposite, the Shar’ is the one that judges the actions and things as hasan and qubh; what the Shara’ judges as hasan, it is so, and what it judges as qubh, it is so.
Therefore, democracy contradicts Islam in creed and law, it is corrupt and not suitable for looking after the affairs of the people and it is not suitable to address their problems, or to achieve their interests; because it is man-made, man is flawed, weak and limited. Only the whole of Islam is fit to take care of the affairs of the people and address their problems and achieve their own interests, which contains the Shariah rulings with solutions to all the problems for all times and places; because it is from the Lord of the people, their Creator… the Creator of man, life and universe.
O Candidates:
Did you not know that your participation in legislation, whether to approve the legislation or to legislate laws by rejection, is your consent to exclude Allah’s Legislation, and to take the legislation of humans instead! What is wrong with you, how do you judge? It is inconceivable that Allah (swt) would have sent His Messenger in vain, and made him (saw) the seal of the Prophets and Messengers in vain! And that Allah sent down His Book and protected it until the Day of Resurrection in vain! But Allah in His Holy Book, and the Sunnah of the Prophet has given a detailed guidance to show the true and straight path, to all that brings prosperity and stability in life and happiness for man.
O Voters:
Did you not know that voting for the candidates is asking them to represent you in legislating and to abandon Allah’s Shariah! This means that your work is to assign the candidates to carry out acts that are prohibited. You are aiding them to carry out the legislation instead of Allah, which is forbidden, due to the verse:
“And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression” [Al-Ma’ida: 2]
What is a greater sin than the sin of legislating instead of Allah, and what is the greatest aggression of all other than the aggression against Allah. The Prophet (saw) said:
«انْصُرْ أخاكَ ظالماً أو مَظْلوماً» قالوا: يا رسولَ الله! هذا ننصرُهُ مظلوماً، فكيفَ ننصُرُه ظالماً؟! قال:«تأخذُ فوقَ يديْهِ...»
“Support your brother when he is oppressed and when he is the oppressor.” They said: O Rasool Allah! It is understood to support him when he is oppressed, how can we support him when he is the oppressor? He (saw) said: “By bringing him back to the truth” (Narrated by Bukhari).
And what is a greater injustice done by man other than forging lies against Allah, by deciding what is Halal and Haram for the people instead of Allah (swt).
These Ummah Council elections are only but a distraction used to divert the people and occupy them from demanding to be ruled by what Allah has revealed. And to make these Councils the scapegoat for the corruption and injustice of these systems, that is, they attach to them all their crimes, and corruption. They (Councils) are used to pass the agreements with the Kufr countries based on Kufr laws. In addition, they give legitimacy to the plundering of the wealth of the Ummah, and wasting of public funds in other than the Ummah’s interests.
O Muslims:
Allah Azza wa Jal says:
“The only statement of the [true] believers when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them is that they say, "We hear and we obey." And those are the successful” [An-Nur: 51]
The Prophet (saw) brought a pristine clear message, a Book with detailed verses and a pure Sunnah, its night is like its day, it is abandoned only by the losers, Allah (swt) did not authorize us to legislate, but He obliged us to implement His Legislation (Shariah).
Allah (swt) says:
“And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you” [Al-Ma’ida: 49]
This cannot be achieved without the establishment of the ruling system of Islam, the righteous Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood. So join those working to establish it, to implement Allah’s Law.

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
