A Letter from the Women's Section of Hizb ut Tahrir in Tunisia

A Letter from the Women's Section of Hizb ut Tahrir in Tunisia
To The Minister of Women, Family, and Children
(Translated)
Women in Tunisia, like other women in the Muslim countries were dignified and honoured when the Muslims had a state and an implemented system of life. But after the destruction of the Khilafah in the twenties of the last century, and the absence of Allah’s Shariah from application, women suffered humiliation and abuse, and ever since have experienced a miserable life, not only in areas concerning the issues of women, but in all areas of life. They have a painful reality which is made worse by the exploitation of their efforts and holding them accountable for what happens from loss or disruption of their families.
It is in the midst of this tragic life, women are hurt but do not speak up, instead international organizations and feminist movements speak on their behalf and raise slogans and issue laws and contract agreements that the West are happy with, that maintains the West’s culture and civilization alive and popular in Muslim countries, by this the West will maintain our colonization and our subordination to it.
You are no doubt are aware of what was reached by the previous governments to raise reservations about articles and chapters of the CEDAW agreement, which you should be aware of the contradiction it contains to the rules of the social system in Islam.
We attached with this letter a booklet to you explaining some of the material that came in the notorious CEDAW agreement, so that you are aware of some of its poisons and evils.
You are also aware of the painful numbers and statistics with regard to divorce rates, single mothers and those cut off from education among others which are continuously rising.
Similarly the reality of working women which is not short of pain and not any better: in the textiles industry, for example, it employs 35.7 percent of the total labor force, 86 percent of whom are women and 42 percent of them are the sole breadwinners for their families, which constitute five people on average. As well as the agricultural sector which employs 35 percent of the total number of women in Tunisia and 52 percent of the working women in this sector are the sole breadwinners for their families. We believe that you are already aware of the extent of the cruelty and the poor conditions of their work.
We in Hizb ut Tahrir, the party that adopts the issues of the Ummah and works with them to its elevation, closely follow the developments and expose to the Ummah what is being plotted against it from the conspiracies and schemes, to remove it from Islam and divide it and control its demands and change its concepts, standards and convictions.
Therefore, we in the Women's Section of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Tunisia invite you lest you be deceived by what is marketed by paid media entities, that want to undermine Muslim women under false slogans, like the appointment of women in high professional ranks, while turning a blind eye to the attention to real women's issues and sufferings, since these parties want to promote and market the worn out Western civilization in our country to prolong the life of colonialism and cause the diversion of the Ummah’s survival compass, and the desired change.
We also emphasize that the patchwork solutions being promoted will not change the situation of women one day, that is if they have good intention, but the change must  be built on fixed foundations, an intellectual creed, must be solid and emanating from the Ummah’s culture and identity, and not imported from the land of Uncle Sam, that the world witnessed the corruption of its culture and pummeling of their ideology in front of the pictures of vice and immorality and abuse that filled their communities.
The social system that is based on the foundations, and is detailed, and emanating from the doctrine of the Ummah is the solution for women, which is obligatory to call for and implement.
Allah (swt) says:
“Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better or one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.” [At-Tawba: 109]

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider ...

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the...

Authenticity of ahadith on tall buildings in Makkah?

Question Are these   ḥadith  sound? Are the references provided correct and accurate? When you see the belly of Makkah will be cleft open and through it will be dug out river-like passages (i.e. tunnels) (or water in the road to Makkah), and you see the buildings surpass its mountains, then take care (or beware, or a variant has: then know that the matter is at hand, or then understand that the time of trial (Judgment day) is near at hand). [Narrated by Al-Azraqi in the Book of reports about Makkah – Kitab Akhbaar Makkah, Hadiyth-1725; A specific Hadiyth (in fact several related-Hadiyths) which prophesizes about this Tower. Itha ra’aitun mecca bu’ijat katha’ima, wa ya-tasawa bunyanuha ru’usa jibaliha, faqad athalati as-Sa’atu. When you see Mecca, its mountain with holes (pierced through them), and its buildings reach its mountain tops, then as-Sa’ah (the Hour) has already cast its shadow. [Suyuti] So when you see in Makkah that channels have already been dug (or tunnels b...
